MARISOL's POV

"de verdad no me vas a decir dónde nos estás llevando? (are you seriously not gonna tell me where you're taking us?)"

"no será sorpresa si te digiera, no? (it wouldn't be a surprise if i told you, no?)" obviously not but i can't take the angst.

i was sat in the passenger seat of his car in a flowy summer dress with tie up sleeves that droop per his request of dressing nicely but remembered to add that it's not like i already do. i swear he thinks he's always gonna say the wrong thing.

but i knew this meant one thing and one thing only.

our first date.

he warned me after my game this morning and i immediately went home with my family to pamper up. i panicked along the way but my mom got me on track multiple times.

to say the least, i was a bit of a nervous wreck.

the good thing is, i was catching onto this road. "isn't this the road to-" but he only turned up the music in the care and i couldn't complain because it was invisible string.

"and isn't it just so pretty to think, all along there were some, invisible string. tying you to me..." i just love folklore. theres isn't one song that didn't bring me to taylor's whole world.

i smile looking out and taking in the wind and view because pedri decided to take fer's convertible.

but i guess i must've been smiling to myself that long that pedri had to bring me back to reality the second his hand laid on my cheek. "estás bien, amor? (are you okay, love?)"

but i'm too happy to say anything so i nod with a smile.

as we make the last twists and turns, we get out the tunnel just to go up the road and park right in front of the small entrance of turó de la rovira. "it's a friday night, aren't people gonna be here?"

"not when you have them close it off for the rest of the evening." my jaw drops slightly at his words.

he's unbelievable sometimes.

"well come on i don't want the food to get cold."

food? i'm only becoming more shocked as he comes around to open the door for me and gives me a hand. the second i took it, he took us to the trunk and popped it open to where i saw a basket and some blankets. "i called my mom over to help me make us something so if you see blood, just chew through it, okay?"

"pedri!"

"i'm joking!" i really hope he is but i'm still hung up on the fact that he and his mom prepared our whole meal.

i must've gotten so lost at the thought that he dragged me in and i wasn't even paying attention by the time we made it past the front. "no wonder you wanted to come out here later." i had made it to the edge enough to see all of lights in barcelona. "want me to push you over?"

"you sure know what to say on a first date."
