Raven puts their backpacks filled with the supplies they collected at school and the sanitary needs on Nya's saddle baskets. She climb into Nya's saddle, looking down at Jake. "ready?" She asks. Jake smiles at her as he stares up at her from the ground. As she is sitting on the horse "Nya" she looks incredible, her hair blowing in the wind and her outfit perfectly set in place as she sits upon the horse, ready to go.
"Ready when you are." Jake says as he looks up at her. He looks forward to their long journey ahead, and for the first time he feels a sense of dread as he thinks about everything they are both about to encounter on their way to the mountains.
Raven holds out her hand to pull him up onto the saddle with her. Jake grabs her hand and climbs up onto the saddle right behind her, securing himself on the horse with the saddle and her help. Once he's situated, "Nya" starts getting ready to move forward, as does "Eros". Raven looks over her shoulder at Jake and smiles softly.
"This ride is going to be long, you ready to spend most of your day sitting here with me on this horse?" She asks him with a twinkle in her eye and a soft smile on her face.
Jake blushes and smiles back, still feeling butterflies in his stomach. He thinks about how he'll be spending most of the day on this horse with her, but it doesn't seem to bother him too much. "Yeah, I'm ready. Spending my day with you will make any journey like this a fantastic experience." Jake says to her with a bright smile that lights up his face. He turns around behind her and wraps his arms around her waist, holding onto her as they set off on their long journey.
Raven clicks with her tongue and "Nya" starts moving forward, making her way through the massive, car pile up. She slowly guides the horse through the cars, navigating between the various hazards and obstacles scattered across the area. She looks over her shoulder to the horse "Eros" who is following behind them, making sure they stay safely behind her.
Jake grips onto her waist and looks at Raven from behind her, watching her as they navigate this dangerous area.

Raven and Jake have been moving slowly and carefully through the car pile up for two hours now. "Eros" has done a great job of following closely behind them, all of them avoiding any cars that are in their way. They still have quite a few more cars to navigate, but they are nearly halfway through the massive pile up.
Jake holds onto Raven's waist and leans his head against her shoulder as they continue riding "Nya". He looks more and more in love with her every moment they're together.
"I wish we could go faster, I just don't want to risk the chicken cage on Eros's back to fall off." She says.
Jake and her continue riding through the car pile up, slowly making their way toward the end of the massive wall of cars. She looks back to "Eros" who is carrying the chicken cage on his back, the horse seeming to be a little bit impatient.
"I think "Eros" is a bit impatient." She chuckles and looks forward to the end of the car pile up that is now just ahead of them.
Jake and her now seem to be nearing the end of the car pile-up as they see a path ahead of them leading out of the mass of cars. Their horses are both a little bit impatient, wanting to get off of this stretch of road and continue on towards the mountains to Raven's uncle's place. Jake grips onto the saddle just a little bit harder as they near the edge of the car pileup and the wide open road ahead.
"You okay?" She asks softly, turning to look over her shoulder at him. Jake is holding onto the saddle, a little bit of tension and fear in his voice.
"Yeah, I'm okay." He says, his voice a little jittery and nervous. He then lets go of the saddle and puts his arms around Raven, resting his head against her back as he holds onto her tightly for support. He looks over at "Eros" out of the corner of his eye, watching the horse impatiently.
"Looks like "Eros" is getting bored of this..." He jokes lightly.
Raven and Jake both laugh together once they exit the car pile-up. The horses have picked up their pace once they are in the open roadway, "Nya" and "Eros" seeming to be anxious to get away from all the cars and onto the open road.
They speed across the roadway, getting closer and closer to Raven's uncle's place in the mountains.
