Time passes by in the cabin until the sun comes back up in the sky and the light starts to shine through the windows, the cabin looking as cozy and as comfortable as it did when they first arrived. As time passes, they both spend time in their rooms, doing their own separate activities throughout the morning.

Eventually, the two of them meet each other in the kitchen in the morning, Raven's sitting on the couch and Jake coming over to get some coffee. "Morning." She say smiling up at him from her spot on the couch, taking a small sip of her coffee.

"Morning." Jake says, walking in and seeing Raven on the couch. He smiles at her and grabs himself a mug of coffee, going to go sit in one of the office chairs nearby. "How did you sleep?" He asks her, taking a sip of his coffee. Raven can feel the warm, comfortable air in the cabin, the sun shining through the windows creating a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.

"Okay I guess with the whole shit zombie apocalypse happening. What about you?" she replies smiling.

"About the same. It's a nice change of pace to sleep in a comfortable bed that isn't on top of a horse. Plus this bed is the closest thing I'm gonna get to a hot shower for a while since the water heater got destroyed by a zombie." He chuckles as he drinks some more of his coffee. "What are you planning to do today?" Jake asks, turning towards her.

"I guess it's better than being out there." She agrees.

"Definitely better than being outside. It feels weird to say, but this whole cabin seems like a safe haven. Like, being stuck inside feels way better than being out there... if that makes any sense." He chuckles. "At least I don't have to constantly look over my shoulder when I'm inside this cabin, watching out for zombies and worrying about getting killed." Raven nods taking a sip of her coffee.

"Do you think we could last in here for awhile, or do you think they'll find their way in here eventually?" Jake asks her, seeming concerned about the zombies getting to the cabin. She can see the look of worry in his eyes, the way he is constantly looking out of the window and looking out for anything unusual outside. Raven feels safe within the four walls of the cabin, away from the horrors of the apocalypse.

"I say we should be fine, it would take a lot of force to knock the fence over." She replies.

"True, the fence does seem pretty strong." Jake agrees, looking out the windows as he says this. "I guess the main worry is being stuck here. I wonder how long we'll actually be stuck here for this whole thing... how long do you think it'll be until we can go back to normal?" He asks, sounding genuinely curious.

"I'm not sure, hopefully they find a cure for the zombies soon." She says, hope and wonder filling her tone.

"I hope so, I would do almost anything to have life go back to normal and see all of my friends again." Jake says with a sad sigh, looking over at her with a smile. "Although this whole thing probably means I have more time to hang out with you and get to know you better. So I guess that's not a bad thing."

Raven chuckles softly, "Careful you sound like your falling in love with me."

"Is that a bad thing?" Jake says playfully, raising his eyebrow at her as he smiles. "It might be nice, being stuck here during the apocalypse and falling in love with the most beautiful woman in the world." He chuckles. "Although I feel like you're probably out of my league if we're being honest. You're just too pretty."

She laughs, "am not..." she says.

"Oh come on, there's no way you're not out of my league. You're absolutely stunning, with beautiful brown eyes and a smile that could light up the whole room." Jake smiles back at her, clearly still crushing on her. "Anyone lucky enough to be your boyfriend would basically be the envied guy on the planet. Especially if the guy was lucky enough to be me!"

Raven laughs, looking out the window and sees the horses. "Well I got to go feed the horses." She says standing up and walking towards the door for outside.

"Do you want any help?" Jake asks as he watches her walk out of the door, towards the horses. "I could join you if you'd like."

"I'm okay, thank you though." She replied.
