Bitten Hearts

Chapter 13

Raven laughs and tries to help Jake up, only to slip on the mud herself and fall on top of him. Jake smiles up at her as he is lying in the mud and she is on top of him. They both start laughing, enjoying the comical situation they've just gotten stuck in.

The rain is still falling on them, making them wet and muddy as they laugh and enjoy the rain together, both smiling at each other.

Raven moves to try and stand back up, only to slip in the mud and fall back down onto Jake. She laughs and falls on top of Jake, looking down at him with a smile as she starts to laugh again. Jake chuckles as he is stuck in the mud, and he looks up at her as she is lying on top of him. "Maybe we're just meant to lay here in the mud together." He chuckles playfully, smiling at her.

Raven laughs and slaps Jake's chest playfully, calling him an "oaf" which causes Jake to laugh louder. She can feel the warmth of his chest as she slaps him playfully, and Jake grins back at her.

Jake can feel his face flushing as he looks up at Raven and smiles at her. "What do you mean I'm being flirty? I was just trying to be supportive of you laying on top of me." He chuckles and nudges her playfully. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

She rolls off of Jake and into the mud, lying beside him and smiling at him with a smirk. The rain is still falling all around them, the mud creating a wet spot around them as Raven looks at Jake. Jake smiles back at her, enjoying the way the mud feels against his skin. "I'd almost say the mud is pretty comfortable." He chuckles playfully, nudging her playfully.

Raven rolls herself out of the mud and onto the wet grass below, still smiling at Jake with playful smirk on her face. The rain is still falling, the wet grass turning into mud as it's hit by the moisture in the air and the rain. Her clothing is completely wet, and she can feel the water running down her skin as she stands up from the mud. Jake smiles up at her, not making any motions to get up from the mud as he watches her. "The grass looks pretty soft and comfortable, I might have to join you."

She laughs and starts cleaning as much mud off of her as she can with the rain, getting most of it off and rinsing herself off with the fresh water of the rain.
Jake watches Raven with a smile, watching her wash herself off with the rain water and enjoying the beauty of her. The rain continues to fall on them, making their skin seem to glow in the rain and making the whole scene seem very beautiful and majestic. The rain also rinses away the mud from Jake, as some droplets of water run down his face.

"Are you going to dance with me or not?" She asks playfully, smiling down at him still in the mud.
