Raven and Jake have been riding their horses through the mountains for an hour, the sun starting to set in the evening sky as the day starts to come down to its close. The mountains are a beautiful sight to see, the sun's rays hitting the sides of the mountains and casting a warm glow of light upon the landscape.
They finally reach a path that leads up to a secluded cabin in the mountains, the two horses slowing down as they reach the path.
"We're here." she smiles at Jake. "My uncle's cabin is just up the path."
They ride the horses down the path towards her uncle's cabin. It's been an impressive and long journey to get to this point, and they're both happy to finally be arriving at their destination.
"Is that the security fence up ahead?" Jake asks, pointing towards a tall fence that surrounds a cabin up the path. "I guess we made it."
Raven smiles at him and nods, and the two horses continue along the path towards the cabin, the cabin's exterior slowly becoming more visible as they approach it.Raven climbs down from the horse, looking back at Jake and gesturing for him to stay on the horse. Jake looks at her and smiles, then follows her lead as he sits back on the horse. She unlocks the fence and begins to lead the horses inside the gated property.
They make it inside and Raven locks them back inside the fence before climbing back up onto the horse and riding alongside Jake, heading towards the cabin. The cabin has a beautiful view of the mountains and the sunset behind it, the setting sun creating a picturesque and cozy environment.
Raven dismounts from the horse and starts taking the supplies and backpacks with her towards the cabin. She then begins to take everything off of Eros, including the chicken cage. Jake does the same, getting off the horse and helping her take off the saddle and the chicken cage. Once everything is off, they let the horses roam the fenced in property and enter through the cabin door. The cabin has a warm feeling to it, the windows casting the light glow of the setting sun along the walls, with the light coming in through the windows creating a warm glow that highlights the room.
They enter through the door into the cabin, both blown away by the size and appearance of the cabin. It has a cozy atmosphere and looks like a perfect getaway, the kitchen and living room downstairs both well-designed and cozy.
The living room has comfortable couches and chairs, as well as a large stone fireplace in the corner. The kitchen looks to be fully stocked with food and supplies, and the bedroom looks to be ready for sleeping, with two beds and two bathrooms. Everything looks to be in perfect condition.
"Wow." Jake looks around the cabin and smiles at her.
"My uncle likes to be prepared..." Raven laughs softly, standing in the doorway and looking around the cabin. "He has twenty cabins for our family to come to during emergency disasters. He gave me this one once I moved down here for college."
Jake takes a moment to absorb the information she has given him, the fact that her uncle has twenty cabins and is so prepared for every kind of disaster is both impressive and fascinating to him. "Twenty cabins? That's awesome but also kind of crazy..." He laughs, looking around the cabin as they both come inside. "I guess your uncle will be safe no matter what happens." He says jokingly.
"Hopefully." Raven says in return. She walks to the kitchen and begins to search for something to cook for dinner, Jake walks up beside her and looks at the fully loaded kitchen, wondering what they could cook as well.
"Do you have everything you need for dinner? I can help you if you need me to." Jake asks her, wanting to help out as much as possible.
