"David lets go! We are going to be late!!" You yelled up the stairs to your long-term boyfriend, who was stressing out over meeting your whole family at a summer barbecue/pool party.

"Okay, okay I'm sorry it's just ugh I'm uh.."

"Nervous?" You finished his sentence for him.

"Yes Y/N! What if they don't like me, and what if they make fun of me and what if.." He just began to ramble every possible thing that could go wrong.

"Can you just shut up for Gods sakes your negativity ifs bringing me down." You finally told him and he shut up.

You got in his car all ready for the family gathering at your parents place on a nice lake in the suburbs, not far from Boston.

"They will love you babe." You reassured him as you placed your hand over his on the arm rest.

He just shot your back a weak yet convincing smile.

David's POV:
"Yes David, you have my approval for her hand in marriage. I really like you, son. When are you going to do it? If you need help let me know." Y/N's dad told me and I let out a HUGE breath I didn't know I was holding. It's like 100 lbs were suddenly lifted off my shoulder.

"I was thinking taking her out to a nice restaurant in downtown Boston and then going on a walk in the park where we went on our first date, then proposing there." You said confidently.

"That's a great idea. I'm sure she will love it." He said patting you on the back and walking away.

Back to your POV:
"C'mon David! We were just about to start eating." You said running up to your boyfriend who was playing road hockey with your nephews.

"The kids love you. You will make a great father some day, you know?" You whispered while you held onto his arm walking to the picnic table

"Thank you. And you will be the worlds most amazing and beautiful mother when the time comes." He said with a big smile plastered on his face.

Sooooo I tried switching up the POV. Sorry if this is awful. It's kinda short but I can always do a part 2? I don't know much about David Pastrnak (I'm a NYR and Hawks fan) so I kinda just winged it. 😕😝 Feel free to send me requests through the comments or messaging.
