The spacious, modern office was bathed in the golden glow of the afternoon sun streaming through the tall glass windows. Jimin sat at his sleek desk, typing away on his laptop with an air of authority. The soft knock on the door broke the silence.
"Come in," Jimin said, his voice calm and composed.
His assistant entered, holding an iPad with a nervous look on his face. "Sir, you need to see this," he said, extending the device toward Jimin.
Jimin glanced at the screen, his brows furrowing as he began to read. A moment later, his jaw clenched, and his eyes darkened. The headline was bold and clear:
"Park Jimin, The Most Eligible Bachelor in Business, Announced His Marriage to Choi Y/n!""What the hell?" Jimin hissed, rising abruptly from his chair. His usually calm demeanor shattered as he slammed the iPad onto his desk. "What nonsense is this? Who gave the media this information?"
The assistant flinched at his tone but attempted to explain. "Sir, I—"
Before he could finish, Jimin's phone buzzed on the desk, displaying his father’s name. He snatched it up and answered, his voice taut as he tried to reign in his anger.
On call.
Jimin: "Hello, Dad?"
Mr. Park: "Jimin, I know you’re upset. I assume you’ve seen the news."
Jimin: "Upset? Angry doesn’t even begin to cover it! Who leaked this to the media?"
Mr. Park: "I did."
There was a beat of silence as Jimin closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose.
Jimin: "You did what? Why would you do this without telling me? Now I’ll have to deal with a storm of reporters."
Mr. Park: "I did it for the family, son. I want everyone to know that the great Park Jimin is marrying Choi Y/n. This is a matter of prestige."
Jimin: "Prestige?" Jimin said, his tone laced with frustration. "Dad, you didn’t need to make this announcement so soon. You could have waited until the wedding."
Mr. Park: "Timing is everything in business, Jimin. And this engagement is no different. If reporters ask you about it, you will confirm it. That’s final."
Jimin: "Dad—"
Mr. Park: "No arguments, Jimin. Just do as I say."
The line disconnected before Jimin could respond.
Jimin lowered the phone, his knuckles whitening as he gripped it tightly. "Unbelievable," he muttered, his voice dripping with frustration. He looked up at his assistant, who was stifling a nervous smile.
Jimin’s piercing glare made the assistant straighten up immediately, the smile disappearing from his face. "Get out," Jimin said coldly.
The assistant didn’t need to be told twice. He turned and hurried out of the room, closing the door quietly behind him.
Left alone, Jimin sat back down, his hands running through his hair in exasperation. His father’s decision had thrown him into chaos, and now, with the world’s eyes on him, he had no choice but to play along.
"Choi Y/n," he muttered under his breath, his lips curling into a small, bitter smirk. "Looks like you’ve officially become my fiancée."

Taehyung’s luxurious office was bathed in the soft light of his desk lamp. The room, with its dark leather furniture and modern decor, exuded an air of sophistication.
