The car sped down the empty road, the tires screeching slightly as Jimin pushed the accelerator harder than necessary. His grip on the steering wheel was tight, his knuckles white with frustration. Beside him, Y/n sat with her head down, her silent tears staining her cheeks. The tension in the car was suffocating.

"If you didn’t want to go to the party, you could have told me earlier," Jimin began, his voice sharp and laced with anger. "Why did you have to ruin it for both of us? What am I supposed to tell Dad now, huh? I left the house happy, and now I’m going back like this—furious!"

"I-I’m s-sorry..." Y/n stammered through her sobs, her voice barely above a whisper. "I-I spoiled the par—"

"Stop the fucking nonsense!" Jimin snapped, his voice echoing in the confined space of the car. His outburst made Y/n flinch, her hands clutching the edge of her seat.

"Do you really think your apology will fix anything?!" he yelled, his frustration boiling over. "First, you’re crying nonstop without giving me a single reason why. Second, you keep repeating this useless apology. And now, you’ve completely ruined my mood with your pathetic excuses!"

Y/n’s sobs grew louder for a moment, but she quickly tried to stifle them, pressing a hand to her mouth to keep herself quiet.

"I don’t want to hear your voice anymore," Jimin warned coldly, his tone low but threatening. "If I hear another sound from you, there will be no one worse than me."

His words struck like a whip, and Y/n immediately fell silent, her tears still flowing but her sobs suppressed. The rest of the drive was eerily quiet, the only sound being the hum of the engine and the occasional sniffle from her side.

Jimin’s jaw tightened as he glanced at her briefly, his expression unreadable. He said nothing further, focusing solely on the road as the mansion loomed closer in the distance.

The car screeched to a halt in front of the mansion. The sky was heavy with dark clouds, and rain poured down relentlessly, drenching everything in its path. Jimin’s face was stone cold, his emotions hidden behind a mask of anger.

"Get out of the car," he said curtly, not sparing Y/n even a glance.

Y/n hesitated for a moment, her trembling hands fumbling to unbuckle her seatbelt. As soon as she stepped out, the rain soaked her entirely in mere seconds.

Before she could even close the car door, Jimin reversed sharply and sped away, the tires splashing water into the air.

A loud clap of thunder boomed across the sky, and Y/n flinched, hugging herself tightly. Her dress clung to her skin, and her hair stuck to her face as she hurriedly ran toward the mansion.

The warmth of the house felt hollow as she entered. She didn’t stop until she reached her bedroom, her feet leaving small puddles behind her.

Quickly, she changed into dry clothes, wiping her wet hair with a towel. Her heart was still heavy, the events of the party replaying in her mind like a cruel movie.
