The library was silent except for the occasional rustling of pages. Y/n sat at a wooden table near the large window, the warm sunlight casting a golden glow on her face.
Her elbow rested on the table, her cheek against her palm, and her eyes—heavy with exhaustion—blinked slowly, struggling to stay open. She was drowning in sleep, her mind pleading for just one thing.
Coffee.
Her eyelids drooped dangerously, her book slipping slightly from her fingers. Just as she was about to give in and rest her head on the table, a small thud made her blink in surprise.
A cup of coffee had been placed on the table right in front of her.
Startled, she lifted her gaze just in time to see someone walking away. She only caught a glimpse of his back, but she knew. Daniel.
Her eyes flickered down to the cup, and there, stuck to the side, was a small note. Curious, she picked it up and read the neat handwriting.
You have so much sleep in your eyes, Don't you feel sorry for your pretty eyes?
Well, enjoy this coffee!
—Daniel.Y/n stared at the note for a moment, her fingers tracing over the words. Then, instinctively, her eyes searched the library, trying to spot him. But he was gone.
She looked back at the cup, debating whether to drink it or not. The rational part of her told her to leave it. But her heart? Her heart—and her sleepy mind—wanted the coffee badly.
With a quiet sigh, she picked it up, placed the straw between her lips, and took a sip.
The warmth spread through her instantly, the rich taste of the coffee melting in her mouth.
Perfect.
Far away, standing near the bookshelves, Daniel watched her with a quiet smile playing on his lips. The way she took that first sip, the way her expression softened—he saw it all.
And then, with a satisfied look, he turned and walked away.

As Y/n stepped into the Park mansion, she immediately noticed something unusual. Jiwon was sitting at the dining table, casually having breakfast.
"Hey, Y/n! How are you?" Jiwon greeted her cheerfully, waving a spoon in the air.
Y/n walked up to her, raising an eyebrow. "You're awake now?" she asked, a bit surprised.
Jiwon grinned sheepishly. "No, actually, I woke up two hours ago. But I got busy on my phone, so I'm having breakfast now," she admitted with an awkward laugh.
Y/n stared at her, unsure of how to respond to that. Before she could say anything, Mrs. Park’s voice interrupted her thoughts.
"She's a lazy girl," Mrs. Park said with a shake of her head before turning to Y/n. She placed a gentle hand on her shoulder and smiled. "Y/n, go and get ready. You’re going shopping with Jimin today."
Y/n’s eyes widened slightly in surprise.
Shopping? With Jimin?
She wasn’t expecting this at all. More than shopping, all she wanted was sleep. The exhaustion from university still clung to her, and her body was screaming for rest.
She parted her lips to protest, but before she could utter a word—
"Wow! Sister-in-law, I’ll get you ready!" Jiwon suddenly squealed in excitement. She quickly stood up, practically bouncing on her feet. "I’ll make you so pretty that my brother won’t be able to take his eyes off you!"
