"More than me?" Jimin's voice was calm, but his question lingered in the air, carrying a weight that made Y/n pause. She stood there, her eyes locked on his.
Seeing her hesitate, he sighed lightly. "Well, if you want, you can continue," he said, his tone softening.
Her eyes lit up instantly, and a bright smile spread across her face. She stood up excitedly, her voice full of disbelief. "Really?"
He nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips as he watched her reaction.
"Thank you," she said, her voice warm with gratitude. For a moment, her joy seemed to fill the room, and he found himself staring at her, captivated by the way her smile transformed her face.
"You look good while smiling," he said softly, his gaze meeting hers.
Her smile faltered, and she looked away quickly. "I want to sleep now," she said, her tone quieter, before turning and heading toward the bed.
Jimin stood there for a moment, watching her retreat. Then, shaking his head, he walked toward the bathroom.
Y/n lay on the bed, her eyes shut tight as she tried to calm her racing heart. She could hear the faint sound of water running as Jimin showered. She pulled the duvet up to her chin, willing herself to fall asleep.
The bathroom door clicked open a few minutes later, and Jimin emerged. He glanced toward the bed, his eyes falling on her still figure. He walked to his side of the bed and lay down, staring at the ceiling.
The room was silent, save for the soft sound of their breathing. After a while, Jimin turned his head to look at her. Her back was slightly exposed, the loose shirt she wore having shifted as she moved.
His gaze caught on something—faint marks scattered across her back. His brows furrowed as he leaned closer. Without thinking, his hand reached out, his fingertips brushing against the scars.
Y/n flinched at the unexpected touch and turned her head slightly, startled. "Petal," he said, his voice low and gentle.
"Y-Yes?" she replied, her voice tinged with nervousness.
"What are these marks?" he asked, his fingers tracing one of the faint lines.
"Nothing," she said quickly, pulling the duvet up to cover herself fully. Her voice was firm, but there was a tremor in it.
Jimin sat back slightly, his expression unreadable. He didn’t press further, but his mind raced with questions.
He understood one thing clearly: she was hiding something, and whatever it was, it had left a mark—both on her body and in her heart. For now, he let the silence settle between them, but his resolve to find out the truth only grew stronger.

The morning sun filtered through the curtains as Y/n blinked awake. Her hand instinctively reached out, but the other side of the bed was empty, the sheets cold. Her eyes caught a small piece of paper on the side table.
Picking it up, she read the neat handwriting:
"I'm going to the office. You go to the university for admission with the guard.
~Jimin"She let out a soft sigh, a small smile tugging at her lips as she remembered how he had granted her permission last night. With a renewed sense of purpose, she got out of bed and headed to the washroom to freshen up.
After a quiet breakfast, Y/n stepped outside the mansion, where the guard was already waiting by the car. The drive to the university was calm, and Y/n spent it gazing out of the window, lost in thought.
