Two days had passed since Y/n had fallen into her thoughts, lost in the confusion and pain that Taehyung had caused. In those days, she hadn't spoken a word to anyone. The silence in her heart echoed louder than any sound.

Today, however, was her wedding day, the day she had once imagined with someone else. But now, she was sitting alone in the bridal room, preparing to marry a man she hardly knew, someone she had never chosen.

The room felt suffocating. Y/n gazed blankly ahead, her mind consumed with memories and regrets. The white gown felt heavy, the weight of her reality too much to bear. She was no longer the same girl who had dreamed of love and happiness.

The door creaked open, pulling her from her thoughts. Her father stood in the doorway, his face unreadable. "Let's go," he said, his voice cold and commanding.

Y/n didn't reply, only stood up slowly, her body moving on its own. She took a deep breath and walked toward him, her steps slow but steady.

As her father extended his arm, Y/n hesitated for a brief moment before grabbing it. Together, they walked toward the door, toward the future she hadn’t chosen but was bound to. Every step felt heavier than the last, each one pulling her further from the life she had once imagined.

She didn't look up as they walked down the hallway, her gaze fixed firmly on the ground. Her mind remained clouded with doubt, the weight of the day too much for her to handle.

Y/n’s feet moved slowly, almost mechanically, as her father led her toward the stage. Her eyes remained glued to the floor, her heart weighed down with an unbearable sorrow. The soft sounds of people whispering and the rustling of fabric seemed distant to her.

Everything felt like a dream — one she wanted to wake up from but couldn’t. The world around her was slipping through her fingers, out of her control, and today was the day she had to live a reality she never imagined.

As they reached the stage, her father placed her hand in Jimin’s. Y/n lifted her eyes for the briefest moment, meeting his gaze. But there was nothing there. No warmth, no kindness, no spark of emotion. His face was just as empty as hers. There was no joy, no excitement, only a silence that echoed between them.

Jimin stood before her, his features as impassive as ever, and she wondered for a moment if he felt the same emptiness she did. Did he also feel like he was a pawn in a game he didn’t want to play? Was he as lost as she was?
