Ron was pacing around in his bedroom trying to get through to his parents. His computer was on showing the media footage of the fight with Josh as he makes a fool out of himself. Ron smartly edits his part of the fight as there were only Kim and Josh in it with a few glimpses of himself.
The boy growls when he couldn't get through to them and he throws his phone on the bed. He sat on his chair and covers his head in frustration.
However, the doorbell rang and Ron got up to answer it. He opens the door to find Kim standing in front of him, "KP? What's wrong?"
She looks at him like he'd done something wrong. Avoiding eye contact she walks inside the house. Ron closes the door behind her confused.
She turns around and level Ron with a glare, "Did you post those tapes online?"
Ron was confused, "Tapes?"
"The ones with Dr. Drakken and Shego, when Josh was there, did you post them?"
He became defensive, "So what if I did?"
She was mad, "Do you have any idea what trouble you cause Josh today? Wherever he goes; he receives laughter from people. Hell, I can't go on dates with him until things cool down."
"Whoa, whoa, chill KP, things will blow off in no time. It's like me losing my pants at every mission we've been too," Ron said holding his hands up in surrender.
However, Kim can only shake her head, "Did you do this because you don't like Josh? Are you jealous that Josh and I are dating?"
He stops her there, "Hold on KP, I may be envious and a little stingy whenever someone new enters our circle but not once have I gotten in your way of dating. It just..." he turns away from her, "That guy is a jerk. You deserve better."
"Like who, you?" she asks folding her arms raising a brow.
"I don't know!" Ron spreads out his arms, "Perhaps another guy who is not a jerk behind a certain redhead's back!"
Kim shook her head in utter disbelief, "Unbelievable. You're absolutely jealous of the guy! How can you say that! Josh is a terrific guy! He's sweet and kind and he cares for me! Why can't the two of you make up?! I mean, Josh is trying to be your friend but you won't let him because you have this obsession thinking that he's a bad guy for me!"
"Ah, newsflash KP, because he is a terrible guy for you, you only get to see what he wants you to see. However, I as well as others has seen his nasty side."
Kim shook her head in irritation, "Ron, you're not making any sense!"
The boy shook his head, "KP, look, now is not the right time to be having this conversation. You caught me in a bad time."
"Good because this conversation is over. And Ron, I'm kicking you off the team. The way you are right now, you're a liability to us and those around you."
He was surprise, "But who's gonna watch your back when you go on missions alone?"
Kim smiles, "I won't be alone. Josh will be there with me. He has agreed to become my temporary partner until you cool of."
"Or until he replaces me," thought the boy.
"Right, Josh, the guy who ran away and hid himself behind equipment while you were of fighting Shego. Yeah, he is the best person to replace me with. Hooray for him," Ron drawls being sarcastic.
Kim rolled her eyes, "Ron, come on, stop being such a whiner and do this for me. You don't have to like Josh, at least tolerate him."
She looks away and peer at the door, "Well, I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow in school." She turns around and leaves. Ron was left alone in his empty house. The boy watches her go with a heavy heart.
.
Ron was alone in his bedroom after Kim had left him. He was pacing around the room tense with his boatload of problems concerning his parents and the coming PTA meeting, the prophecy about him being the Chosen One and on top of that Kim kicking him off the team.
He needed to speak with someone but Mrs. Possible is normally the person to turn to but he didnt want the argument to go to her and then her risking asking Kim about it and furthering their argument.
He had no choice but to bottle it up since he had no one to turn to besides his trusty buddy Rufus but he didn't want to burden the little guy. And he didn't want to turn to Sensei because he felt ashamed turning down his master. His heart ached with pain. That man alone has become a father figure to Ron since his parents are neglectful about his everyday life. However, it's to be expected because they work a lot and his mother follows his father everywhere he goes.
Soon an idea came to mind of a method to calm his glitters. Master Sensei taught him a meditation technique that can smoothened his nerve and at the same time tap into his mystical monkey power and the life energy of all those around him. He also uses this technique to suppress the rage he felt when his uncle was murdered and the absolute rage of vengeance. He never showed this side to anyone and wasn't planning to. Soon he closes his eyes and concentrate, sitting cross legged. He focused the energy of the mystical monkey power within him and spread it around him. He was bathed in blue ghostly flames as his surroundings turn black and the outline of every structure in his veracity turns to white. He can feel every aura around him including a burning red flame that feels like autumn leaves.
He started digging deeper and to his surprise he felt another familiar presence. This aura was green and it gives of a radiance of a shooting star. Knowing who it was, Ron opens his eyes and face his window next to a tree branch.
"You can come out, Shego. I know you're there."
A dark figure jumps into his room revealing herself to be Shego. Ron raises a brow, "You broke out rather early."
She stood up, "What can I say, I needed to bail."
"Is Drakken with you?"
"No, still stuck in prison... for a couple of weeks, maybe months until I decided to free him."
"Oh..."
Shego inclines her head in acknowledgement, "But what I want to know is how did you know it was me stalking you?" she asked smiling mischievously.
The boy smiles, "Good guess."
She chuckles, "Fine then, don't tell me but I like what you did with those tapes. Posting them online was hilarious. I bet it caused princess and her boy toy some trouble."
Ron raises a brow before looking down, "It did, until KP decided to kick me off the team."
The villainess was surprise, "What! Princess kicked you off the team. Why?"
"Apparently, I'm a jealous best friend who holds a grudge against sweet and caring Josh Mankey, which is kinder true even if the boy is a jerk... yeah; she holds me accountable and believes I need to cool down, hence the vacation."
The green villainess cringes, "I may be bad but it looks like princesss acting like a real bitch."
Ron shrugged his shoulders, "Hey look at the bright side at least I have more time for myself now that I'm off the team."
Shego looks at him stern, "Yeah, until the other guy replaces you."
Ron was silent.
"Well, if he wants my spot then he can have it, I'm not feeling for the whole saving the world stick anymore. I have other things in my mind," he says looking down.
Shego looks annoyed, "Yeah whatever chump, however let me tell you this, even if you decided to quit the team it's not going to go away so easily. Just when you think you're out, they will drag you back in, just a word of advice. Anyway, thanks for the coffee but I'm bailing out now."
"Bye Shego."
"Yeah, and good luck sidekick. Bye," she jumps through the window and escape his yard. Ron was left alone in his house again!
