An Unexpected Love

19- Going to the Movies!

Days have passed and Richard has been texting and calling me. He hasn't forgot of me neven one day. Will he always be like this or will he change? This question has been in my mind the whole day. Mom says people usually change, sometimes for good and sometimes for bad, but lots of people say that in a relationship they usualy change bacause they get borred or something (in other words they change for bad). I hope this isn't my case. I pray to God that this doesn't happen to us.

Months have passed by very quickly. Richard and I have been talking for three months and today is Friday. Last Friday the leaders of the group I go to, planned to go tho the movies today. Fortunately mom and dad gave me permission. But all of us have to go with our families since the leader Frank told us that the movie is great and our whole family should see it. I'm more nervous cause I'm going to see Richard's family today I hope they like me. I only knkw his dad and not because I have talk to him or something, I have just seen him talking with dad. But what about if they don't like me? Emma don't be so negative, they will like you. My inner voice makes me feel positive.

The movie starts at 6:35 pm and its 5 o' clock, I have half an hour to get ready. I go pick my clothe I should use the t-shirt that the members of the goup should have (which is orange), a white and black short skirt and my black shoes. I look casual and I like it. I put my make up on, some maskara, and a very soft orange that looks like red on my lips. One last look on the morror and I'm ready to go.

My family are ready and waiting for me in the living room. Thats great I don't have to wait for them.

On our road to the movie theaters all that is on my mind is Richards family and how might I pass it today. I hope that it goes great.

We arrive to the movie theater and wen I get there I see Richards family standing there. Andew, Brenda and James. Andrew and me shaked hands, so did James with me, and Brenda gave me a kiss and a hug. I think they kind of like me, I hope so. I talk for a while with Brenda and she is so nice, I statt liking to talk to her.

"Hey Emma, the movue is about to start want to seat besides me."

"Of course." I smiled to him and he noded. I said goodbye to Brenda and walked besides Richard.

"Want some popcorn or something." Richard asked me.

"No I bought candy for me, thank you."

"You sure?"

"Yep."

We got inside the movie room and we seated together. In a while the movie started. Sometimes Richard looked at me, I couldn't help but smile.

"You look beautiful today."

"I was starting to miss that, thank you." I begin to lauph.

"Sorry I was kind of nervous."

"Hum you don't have to be."

"I was."

We remained silence watching the movie. Moments later I started to feel his hand. When I looked at him, he didn't look at me. I am calm but I now what he wants. Minetes later he got my hand, I am starting to tense. I didn't feel like to do it but I did it, I let him hold my hand. I am blushing thank God that the lights are off. He starts making circles with his dumb on my hand. I feel something weird on my belly but I decide to ignore it.

I'm getting thirsty. What now, I'm going to miss the best part if I go buy some. But what ever I will just stay here abd wait when I go out and buy a drink.

"Are you thirsty?" Did he noticed.

"No, I'm not. Why?"

"Yes you are. I have soda here if you want you can drink some. Want popcorn?"

"That is nice of you. And no thanks I don't eat popcorn." I gave him a how do you think I'm going to drink from your soda look and he lauph.

"How ever if you are thirsty you can drink some of mine."

"Thanks."

I'm starting to get thirsty and I don't want to drink of his soda. How could I do that? But I'm very very thirsty.

"I retire what I say, can I have some?"

"I knew you were thirsty. Yeah you can have some."

"Thank you."

I drank of it and he gave me a playful look.

"Stop it! Don't give me that look."

"Sorry its just... umm... forget it."

After a while I just put my hand on the border of the seat and he takes it again. Damn! What is gaing on? I know he likes me but he is taking everything very fast.

The movie finished and it was great. And don't think I say it because of me drinking of his soda or him holding my hand, noo. But in a part it is, I didn't ever think he would do it now. But yeah the movie was awesome.

At the end our families gathered to talk. Sometimes Richard gave me looks and I gave him looks of stop it.

We have to leave so I sayed goodbye to Richards family and to him to. He hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I arrived home and my brother just kept bothering me with Richard and I began to get annoyed.

"Stop it Josh, we're just friends."

"Yeah, yeah Emma. If you say so."

I went to my room and went to sleep. He was in my mind, him, the way he holdex my hand, everything. I can sleep happy now.
