An Unexpected Love

7- Knowing Him Better

Why? Monday! I have to go to school. In part I'm excited because I want to tell Jai what is happening with me and Richard and in part not because its Monday. Who wants to go to school on Monday's?

I'm pasing the stairs of the school and it seems like Jai hasn't arrived yet. Ohh God where is she I need to talk to her. While I wait for Jai to get to shool I'm going to go with my other friends. I'm walking to see if I can find them, they are never in the same place and that annoys me. At least I find them. I sit with the girls Ever, Kathy, Gaby, Paty, Miche and Lima. Thay are all my friends. I can say they are the best. I say hello to all of them and I seat next to Ever. We kept talking of random stuff.

"Emma how did you passed it on my fifteenth party?" Said Ever with kind of an evil smile. Maybe she knows. I hope not.

"Uff I passed it great!" I said very excited.

"I noticed." She started laughing.

"What are you trying to say Ever?"

"Ohh I just noticed that you danced with Richard and you two were talking and the way he was staring at you. I can say you two look pretty cute together and I think he is very interested in you." She said with a giant smile.

"Oh gosh! The same thing again. Everyone is saying that."

"Emma he is a great person, I say it because I know him. If he is interested in you don't let that opportunity pass out."

"I don't like him. He's not my type. And he is kind of stupid sometimes."

"Don't be so hard Emma, just give it a chance." Kathy said.

"I don't know, I will give it some time to see what happens."

At that moment Jai got to where we were. Thank God cause I had lots of things to tell her.

"Jai!" I ran to where she was.

"Wow, Emma! That's to much happiness. What happened with Richard? Cause that should be the reason." Sha said with a small laugh.

I looked at her very serious. "It is because of him but I'm excited to see you."

"O Emma, your face says another thing."

"No, we have been talking for a few days you know, but nothing has happend yet."

"I bet it will, just be patient."

"I don't even know if he likes me, he hasn't said anything."

"He doesn't have to tell you anything you know it by the way he talks to you."

"It might be, but what if I'm wrong? What if he just want me to be his friend and thats all? There is a lot of probability that he doesn't like me."

"And if you are wrong and he does like you, you never know. Give it time."

"Remember what you told me? I have been thinking of it so much and it might be true." I said but I'm still asking that to myself.

"Emma you will know it if you give it time, you don't have to keep thinking of it."

"I feel different when I talk to him and it's weird, I never felt it before."

"Give it time. You will know."

"Umm girls I think we should be heading to the classroom we are going to be late." Paty interrupted us.

"Yes, we should be going." I didn't really felt like I wanted to take class today, besides I'm not in the mood and it's Monday.

The first four periods before the lunch time were passing very slow. I had all my classes but I couldn't concentrate to much. I had to much on my mind. Maybe he likes me, he talks to me very cute and everything. Oh God, I think I'm starting to like him too. This can't be this way. I kind of felt hate towards him. I can't even handle his voice or anything. Thank God it's lunch time. I can't wait to eat at the cafeteria that yummi food. They were giving white rice, beans, fried chiken, and some salad, tasty. I ate it all. I'm going to the usual spot where we all reunite to make jokes and stuff until it's time to get back to take classes. There was Ever, Jai, Kathy and as time passes we were all there. Jai is the kind of person that makes a joke out of everything and it works because we all end up laughing. She is the best making up jokes. I think my phone has a message cause a heard the notification sound. And definitly I have one. Guess from who? My heart began to beat very fast and I didn't move I was practically in shock.

"Good Afternoon!" Oh God he takes my breath away.

"Emma what happened, you look kind of pale, okay more pale that the usual." She said joking and they all began to laugh.

"Very funny. He texted me! Oh God I can't breath."

"Good Afternoon Richard."

"How are you beautiful?!" I think I'm going to die with this kid. And emotion invades me and I start to jump everywhere and scream like crazy.

"Emma God, calm down! What did he tell you?"

"He told me, "how are you beautuful!" And I started to scream again.

"And you dare to tell me he doesn't like you?"

"It might be and that makes my heart beat like crazy!"

"I noticed, I think you like him too. There, you have the proof."

"Please don't say that. I've been thinking of it and I don't want to."

"Without knowing it you will now reply to him don't let him waiting."

"Yeah right."

"Fine and you? :')" I replied back.

"Jajaja fine fine. What are you going to do after school?" He replied very fast to my surprise, even though I waited to long to reply to him.

"That's great. Umm nothing I think. Why?"

"I want to see you, you know we haven't seen each other since Friday and I miss you. Can we meet after school today?"

"Oh God I'm going to die, Jai!" I said so excited I couldn't even stand myself.

"What did he texted you?"

"He wants to see me today after school!"

"Tell me you said no."

"I haven't replied, but I want to see him."

"Well, tell him where then!"

"How?" I texted him back.

"We can go to some place just to see each other or I can go to your house if you want and if it doesn't bother to your parents."

"That is a great idea, you can come to my house. I mean if  you are ok with it?"

"Okay I have no problem. I can be there at 6 if it is ok with you?"

"Okay, then I will se you later cause I have class now. Bye"

"See you later then, bye! ;-)"

I passed all my clases thinking of him that I didn't pay much attention to my classes. And all my classes were done and all I could think about is that in a couple of hours I will see him.

"Bye girls."I shouted.

"Behave well!" Jai said screaming to me.

"Always!" I said. 

"Yeah you only do when you are sleeping and God knows if not." Jai said laughing.

"Ja ja ja very funny. Bye I have to go to clean the house for when Richard comes."

"Bye Emma! See you tomorrow!"

So I went to take the school bus to get home.
