An Unexpected Love

15- As Days Passed By

Well I have been talking with Richard about different stuff and yet I can't seem to get him to tell me. Now I'm in school with my friends and texting with Richard.

"Emma, cheer up. He will tell you sooner or later." Jai said. I had to tell her I always tell her everything, she is the one that always listens and know the right things to say.

"But what if he doesn't?"

"He will Emma, I know it. Besides soon Valentines Day is coming, what if he tells you that day?" And that made me be positive, what if. That can happen.

"Maybe that sure can happen. I will try to be positive."

"That's how it's said. Cheer up now."

It surprising how today school passed quickly. I will see him at the school bus. This makes me happy. My whole family says that I kind of changed and I am acting different. I think it's true.

The school bus arrived and I sat beside Richard and we talked for a while until our bus stop came. I told him if today he could go to the park just to see him a little more. He never said no, I can see he always makes an effort to see me and pass time with me, I love that of him.

I arrived home, talked a little with mom, I always do that, she is the best. I ate my dinner and headed to the bathroom to take a long relaxing bath which are my favorite cause I always take my time. I stayed a little watching tv. I searched for some sport clothes. I found some shorts and a shirt, I made myself a tall bun and my shoes. I'm ready to go.

"Are you there?" I texted Richard to see if I was on time or early.

"On my way to pick you up beautiful."

"You didn't tell me you were going to pick me."

"I tell you now."

Well now it's time for me to get going. "Bye mommy, I'm gona do some excersices. Richard is going to pick me up."

"Ok hunny, see you later, be careful."

I gathered my things and my water bottle. By the time I gathered everything he was already there.

"I'm here, hi."

"Hi beatiful."

I got inside his car. And then he headed to the park.

"We're here darling." He got out of the car and opened the door for me, what a gentlemen.

"Thank you. Let's start." I said very excited.

"Hmm, let's start walking then we run. It's much better."

"Ok. It's better for talking."

"So how is school going?"

"Good, a little hard but good. and you?"

"Mine is going fine. Until now."

We talked for a while. "Emma let's run now I'm getting tired of walking."

"I don't want to run, I'm no good at it."

"Just a little, another race. Fist one to get to the seats, that are right there, wins."

"Say it complete, what do we both get if win?"

"A sweaty hug."

"No I dont want a sweat hug, but I love dares." I started running, when he noticed he did too. He tried to reach me but I was more in the front. He is fast, he is getting close. Emma run he's gona win! I said that in my mind.

"I win!"

"You cheated."

"No I didn't, it's not my fault that you were not paying attention." I turned away and kept walking, hoping he forgets about the sweaty hug.
