An Unexpected Love

40- Ask You

Caleb's pov.

Our relationship has been very strong as day passes. We love each other more and more as time goes by. Soon in one month is our graduation, I really can't wait for that day to come.

I invited Emma for dinner today at night and then I'm taking her home I have her a surprise but I told her my mom wants to see her. Mom have helped a lot in this.

Just one more hour to get out of school and for me to take her out for dinner.

"Hey babe, I've been talking to you for like 5 minutes and you are in your world." She giggles. Wow I love this girl, all I can do is think of her.

"Ohh... um... what were you saying?"

"What were you think so deep?" She laughed.

"I was thinking of you." I placed my hands on her waist pulling her close to me. "God Emma, what did I do to deserve you?" Her cheeks getting a pink color. I love when she blushes.

"No, what did I do to deserve a guy like you?" I took her in my arms and kissed her soft and delicately. I totaly forgot we were in the school parking lot. When we broke our kiss everyone was watching us oncluding her ex boyfriend, who I guess he is in school today maybe to talk to her or look for some papers or something, like usual. The guy still thinks he can get her back, but he is so wrong she is mine now, she's my girl...

"Come on babe, I'll take you home so you can get ready for dinner."

"Sounds like a great idea." She gave me that smile that lightens my world.

"I love you so so so much."

"I love you more."

"I really don't think so, cause I love you even more."

"Ohh that so, I still love you more." I gave her a small peck on the lip and opened my car door for her, still arguing about who loves each other more, its more like the argument of everyday.

I let her on her house and told her Ill be back for her as soon as I get ready.

I am now home a little too much nervouse.

"Mom, Im very nervouse. I mean I know the answer but still I am nervouse." I said.

"Awwe big brother Caleb is nervouse." Said Megan.

"Hey! Dont be mean. You will get nervouse too when u have a boyfriend and I hope it isn't that soon." I saw Meghan get blushed. "Humm is there something you need to tell me?"

"Umm no." She blushed even more this time.

"I hope there isn't any boy Megan."

"Hey! Stop it. Its nothing..." she said a little angry at me. I get jelous when it becomes of my sister being in love with some boy.

"Okay, okay. You'll tell me eventualy." I standed from where I was seated, kissed her forhead and headed to my room to get prepared.

"We'll talk later mom, I have to get prepared and set every thing up."

"Okay son."

I headed to my room. I already bought what I'm wearing today. Its a royal blue button up shirt, and black pants. I have to look good since it's a fancy restaurant.

I'm ready, now all I have to do is go pick up Emma at her house, have dinner on the restaurant, ask her and give her my big surprise.

I am now at Emmas house, and Im nervouse. I can't neven knock the door.

'Caleb, just breath three times. Everything will be okay' I said to my self.

I knocked the door and wait for a while. Rebecca her mom opened the door.

"Hey Rebecca."

"Ohh Caleb! How are you honney?"

"Nervouse, but I am fine and you?" I said.

"I'm fine. You dont have to be nervouse, relax a little boy. Come in."

I went inside, said hello to his dad and brother. When suddently I heard foot steps from behing, so I decided to turn to see. My eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing. Stupid me stayed there mouthed open.

"Are you okay?" Said Emma. I could finally process it.

"Oh My God! You look so beautiful." She blushed a little at my comment.

"Thank you. You look so handsome too." I gave ger a small kiss on the lips since her parents were there watching us.

"Ready my lady?" I said.

"Yep, I am." She giggled.

"Take care you two. I hope you guys have a great time. Love you." Rebecca said to both of us.

We walked to my car, I opened the door to my princess like I always do. On our way there we were like always making silly jokes and talking about things that happen to us at our houses. We always tell each other everything. When we arrived to the restaurant I hurried to open her door.

"Thank you." She giggled.

"Your welcome my princess."

We both entered the restaurant where our table was already reserved.

Emma likes to play the piano so I chose this restaurant where there is always this guy playing a beautiful black acoustic piano and I know for sure the she will get very exited when he starts playing. By the way talking about piano, he hasn't started playing it yet and I think she hasn't notice the piano yet.

We ordered our food. And for a moment we were silent and I don't like silent. I decided to brake the silent, but not asking her yet, I just wanted to talk a little about something random. But I had nothing on my mind.

"I love you." I told her.

"I love you more." She answered.

That way we started conversation. Our food is already on the table, yumm. The piano guy started playing a really fast song. Then he played Emmas favorite, Aura Lee. I saw her so exited about it, she neven payed attention to her food, she was so concentrated of the piano that I had to remid her that the food is getting cold.

"I love how that guy plays the piano! Its so relaxing. Thank you for bringing me here Caleb."

"Hey baby, its nothing. I knew you will like it."

We stayed a while on the restaurant enjoying the piano songs. Then we decided it is time to go to our second place, wich she doesn't know yet. But I'll say, we are going ro the beach the one where I ask her if she wanted to be my girlfring, yep the same place and ocacion that made me the most hapoy guy having a girl like her by my side.

We arrived to the beach she went walking in the front. I called mom fast before Emma notices it so she could prepare everything up for my last surprise. Yep she will be so happy.

I grabbed her hand feeling complete by having her by my side. "I want to pass time with you here, I know it's not that much, but I want you to remember that day, the day I asked you to be my girlfriend, and the day that your answer made me the happiest guy in these world."

"Awwee Caleb, the moment I saw the beach I remembered every escenary, I felt my heart beat fast like that day. I remember everything so perfectly. Thank you." She walk closer to me giving me a sweet kiss.

I forgot to mention, today is one year since we are together, isnt this amazing. Time passed so fast and I still cant believe I know her for a year. Yep, we have been a couple for a year, that is also why I brang her here. Its amazing how one peson can change so easily ones life. I shall say, my life changed from the moment I saw Emma on tha movie theater. I have to admit, my life hasn't been easy, some heart brakes and problems and now I know for sure why I passed through all of that. I needed to pass all that in order to meet an amazing girl. We both have had problems and we have known how to pass them all together.

I walked Emma to a place near the beach, near that place is one with a lot of candles forming a heart shape and in the middle are the words that say "WOULD YOU BE MY PROM DATE?". You should have seen her face when she realized what it said.
