36- Best Birthday Ever

I could't believe what was happening. It jus felt amazing. Our lips moved in sync. I felt like we were like that forever but it was only a minute. When he pulled away he rested his forehead on mine. Then he said what I was waiting for.

"Look I am sorry that I kissed you like that but I had to do it. I know you told me to wait but I had the impulse to kiss you and I thought it was good to do it and it was your birthday so..."

I burst out laughing because I would have never thought he would be so nervous about it.

"It's okay, don't worry about it. I am not mad at you because I was actually waiting for you to do it."

"And here I was thinking you were going to slap me."

"I would never do that unless you actually deserved it." I said laughing.

I saw that he took something out of his pocket. It was a small squared box. He bought me a present! He gave me the box and I opened it finding a beautiful heart shaped necklace. I took it out of the box and turned around so he could put it on me.

"You're welcome. I have one more thing to ask you. I know that maybe I am going to fast but you know that I have felt attracted to you ever since I met you at the theater. We have passed so much together since then, and you know everything about me. So here goes nothing... would you like to be my girlfriend?"

I was amazed when he asked me, I just couldn't believe what I was hearing.

"Yes!"

"What?" He asked.

"Yes!" I screamed and hugged him. I could see in his face the happiness.

"I'm the happiest man in this world, Emma."

"Me too." I almost whispered.

There was silence and our eyes were locked. He came closer leaning to me, I knew what would happen next but my body wouldn't take any move, I just stayed there waiting for it to happen. Again his lips were on mine, it was a slow kiss, a perfect one I'd say the ones I like. He separated our lips to hug like he would never want to let me go.

We spent a couple more hours at the beach then he took me back home. He opened the car door for me and I stepped out. Walking to the door, I turned around and looked at him.

"Thank you for today and the surprise. I had a lot of fun and you made this the best birthday ever."

"You're welcome. I would do anything for you baby girl."

I blushed at his nickname for me. He gave me a light peck and hugged me before getting in his car and driving away. Opening the door, I had a smile on my face. I had to call Jai to tell her everything. My mom was waiting at the living room with a smile on her face. She got up, hugged me, and went to her room.

I went to my room, changed to my pj's and fell asleep almost immedietly.

The next day I woke up as hapy as ever. How could I not be when I have an amazing boyfriend. A boyfriend I could be myself in front of him. He's the one that makes me happy and if I'm sad he looks for a way to take a smile of me and make me happy again. He is so diferent from Richard. Everything happens for a reason in this life and what happened to me was for a reason and it was because Richard was just not for me and I wouldn't be happy.

I chek my phone and had like twenty messages from facebook and one message from Caleb. I opened Caleb's first.

"Good morning my love. Hope you slept very well tonight."

"Hey my boy. I slept great and how would I not with the amazing surprise and boyfriend I have. ;-)."

"I am so glad to hear that. ;-) Have any plans for tomorrow, amazing girlfriend?"

"Umm no. Why?"

"I want you to meet my parents, what do you say?"

"That would be amazing, babe. I will love to." Oh my God I'm gonna meet his parents, I'm gonna die.

"Okay so what do you say at 4?"

"Perfect."

"Okay, I will pick you up then at that hour. :-)."

"Okay. :-)"

Ohh my God this is amazing but at the same time I feel nervous.

"Mom!"

"Tell me hunny!"

"I'm nervous."

"Why?"

"I'm meeting Caleb's parents tomorrow!"

"Oh My God, really that is so amazing. Why would you be nervous that is great!"

"It is amazing but what if they don't like me?"

"They will. Just act normal and be yourself."

"Okay. I need clothes." I giggled.

"You always need clothes Emma. Why don't you use that skirt you bought the other day?"

"Which one?"

"Let me look for it cause you never find anything."

Today the day passed really fast. I called Jai and told her everything.

"Oh. My. God. I still can't believe it Emma!" Jai said screming. I had to get the phone out of my ear.

"I know me either."

"I'm so happy for you sister. I know everything will go super well and you will be very happy as you have always dreamed. He is the right guy for you I'm so sure about it."

"He is amazing, I hope he is the right guy, eventhough I know he is by his touch."

"Uuuu! That is so amazing girl! So when are you gonna meet his parents?"

"I was gonna tell you that. Well tomorrow." I bit my lip while thinking of it.

"Tomorrow! Wow he went fast."

"I know. I'm nervous and all, but I really want to meet them."

"Everything will go fine. Remember to breath three times before entering the house, that keeps you very relax."

"Thanks for the tip." I giggled. "So tell me about you. How is everything going?"

"Fine, I guess..." hum she is thinking this too much. Jai is the kind of person that thinks too much of everything and the decitions she is about to take.

"Hum... something is fishi about that I don't know. Whats wrong?"

"Remember the boy I talked to you the other day. but I'm not quite sure about it, you know how I am."

"Yeah, but as you told me once. You'll never know if you don't try. I need to see this boy. I'm already jelous." We both laughed.

"Well okay, I'll try. You'll se him on Monday."

"Okay, I hope so. I want to see if he is the perfect guy for you if not I'll have to slap him. He is talking to my sister not anyone else."

"Yeah yeah sister, chill out he's amazing I know you will aprove him imedietly."

"Okay, I hope." We talked for a while more about random stuff like always and after that I went to sleep.
