066. NEW SCHOOL YEAR

Chapter sixty six
"New school year."

It was officially senior year, and for once the glee kids were starting the year off being some of the most popular's kids in school thanks to their nationals win, although Caroline realized that it seemed to change everyone except for her, and that could be because she was keeping the secret of what she did with Jesse the night of their nationals win from everybody and now on top of that, she also hadn't told anyone that she spent most of her nights at Jesse's house trying to get over the fact her brother might die in the army.

Where he had told her that one school started back up that he was always a call or text away if she needed him, which she was thankful for but it seemed Jacob Ben Israel was now back on the prowl trying to get the scoop on all the new directions, which is why she wore a disguise in the hallways so nobody would know it was her until it was too late, although in doing so it seemed Sam didn't even recognize her cause she always spotted him getting attention from other girls in the hallway and it didn't exactly make her jealous, knowing she had cheated on him.

Sitting in the choir room, Mr Schuester walked in "glee!" he voiced as they all cheered "we are coming off of a national championship but it's time to look forward. And thanks to glee being the coolest club in the school. This shouldn't be a problem." he shared, as Caroline raised her hand "but Mr Schuester what if half of them can't sing? I mean with everyone who graduated we're kind of back to square one." she shared "I know. But we still have some huge one's in here. And I promise to do everything I can to replace the one's that we lost. And on that note, I'd like to introduce you to our newest member, our top rival from last years nationals, Wade Unique Adams." Mr Schuester shared.

As Wade walked in, Caroline clapped although she realized not everyone else was "that's a great haircut Mercedes I thought you graduated." Britney said as Artie and Caroline looked at each other with annoyance "I wanted to be somewhere where different was celebrated." Wade shared "we are so excited to have you." Mr Schuester told him, as only some people clapped again "guys, where's the love?" he asked.

"I think Wade is great, but the competition to be the new Rachel is already so intense the last thing we need is one more contender." Blaine shared "the new Rachel?" Mr Schuester "yeah, I second that. What the hell are you talking about?" Caroline then asked "every glee club needs a star performer. Rachel was that, and now that she's gone many of us want the job. I thought Caroline was gonna be cut throat and take it but she's been hiding from the cameras." Tina shared.

Making Caroline scoff "first of all rude, I am sitting right here. And second of all, this glee club has never been about picking out a star so everyone else could dance around them I thought we discussed this already? We work and win together as a team and except anybody and everybody who want's to join as long as they can at least sing or dance." she shared "Caroline's right. And I don't want to hear anymore of this new Rachel stuff okay?" Mr Schuester asked, looking to his right "have a seat Wade." he told him as Wade went and sat next to Blaine.

And when glee was over, everyone was getting up to leave but as they did, Caroline opened her bag and pulled her blonde wig out of it, but as she did, Mr Schuester noticed her as he furrowed his brows "Caroline?" he asked her as Caroline looked up at him "can I see you in my office?" he asked her.

In which Caroline had walked in and sat on the chair across from his desk as Mr Schuester shut the door "so, uh..how are things? You know cause I thought you'd be so happy to win, but now it seems since school started up you're not exactly okay with the new popularity." he shared "Mr Schue, I've been in the show choir spotlight since I sang my first original song at the competition. It's just being popular at school isn't all it's cracked up to be." Caroline shared "I get that." Mr Schuester told her as he sat on the desk, looking at her, he took a deep breath "how's everything else because I know..I know Finn joining the army must and is still scaring you." he shared
