027. A WHITE WEDDING

Chapter twenty seven
"A white wedding."

Caroline had gotten sick last week with the flew that had gone around Mckinley but she was back and better then ever seeming to have only missed some new crazy substitute and Sue as principal, but when she was back Caroline was talking to Sam at their lockers "wait, you guys did umbrella by.." she was going to ask him but Burt had walked by and grabbed her arm dragging her down the hallway where it seemed Kurt was already there in the middle of the two of them as her mom was on the end "you three do realize I was in the middle of a conversation right? And whatever this is could've waited till after!" she voiced.

But they were already headed down another hallway, where they walked right up to Finn "oh. What's going on? Is this one of those interventions, cause.." Finn was telling them "if it is it's for all of us. They bombarded me and forced me to bring them to you two." Kurt shared "and while I was catching up with Sam I was rudely pulled away." Caroline mentioned "come on. Tell them." Burt told their mom "no, no. Come on. You. Please." their mother told him as Caroline furrowed her brows "we said in the car..all right." Burt told them as he looked at them all "so, you know I drive Carole to work every Tuesday?" he asked, letting go of Caroline and Kurts arms, walking towards the middle of them.

"Well, today I drove here and we snuck into that classroom where Kurt introduced us, very romantic of me, I might add, and I.." he was saying as their mom then held her hand out with a ring on it "he proposed! He proposed!" she voiced "you stole the punch line!" Burt voiced, as the two then kissed "wow, this just happened?" Finn asked as his, Kurt's and Caroline's eyes were wide "oh, dad." Kurt said as he looked at the ring "I guess so.." Caroline told her brother who now furrowed his brows "we wanted the three of you to be the first to know." their mom shared "yeah, after the kids in that homeroom. Come on. Family hug." Burt told them, putting his arms around them all and pushing them together.

"I'm so excited and nervous." their mom told them "don't be. Don't be." Kurt told her "okay." their mom told him "this is just what I needed. I will take care of it from here. I have a trunk full of wedding magazines, hidden under my bed. I'm thinking of a russet and cognac theme. Those are colors, Finn and Caroline. Fall wedding colors. Autumnal." Kurt shared as Caroline and Finn looked to each other both still in shock "nothing to extravagant Kurt, okay? We're gonna use whatever savings we have on the honeymoon. That's right, we're going to Waikiki. We're gonna go to the hotel where they put the guest starts in lost." Burt shared "Caroline, Finn..you two haven't said anything." their mom told them.

"Uh, I..I guess I'm just kind of stunned." Finn shared "yeah. Same." Caroline shared "hey, don't worry. I'm already looking for a bigger house. One where everybody's gonna get their own rooms." Burt shared "come on, honey's. Be happy for me." their mom told them "I am, mom." Finn told her, smiling "so am I." Caroline told her, smiling as well "all right. Now listen. Kurt as the wedding planner, I want you to take care of one thing. I don't care about the food or the booze at this party, but I want one heck of a band. I've eating right, I've been exercising and I want to boogie with Carole at this wedding." Burt shared as Caroline raised her brows "boogie?" she asked, and she knew what it meant but couldn't he just say dance?

In which Finn put his arm around her, knowing this was a lot "alright, it's already taken care of, dad. I'm gonna hire the new directions as your band. Right? It won't cost you a cent. They're cheap. They're available. Long story short..your having a glee wedding." Kurt told them as Finn and Caroline smiled.

Walking in the hallway, Caroline passed the choir room as she heard Rachel's voice "ladies, the Kurt Kurofsku bullying situation is getting way out of control. Kurt's miserable. He's losing weight, and not in a good way, and he's barely even fighting me for solos anymore." she shared as Caroline furrowed her brows, having not known of Kurosku going after Kurt again "we've all been teased, but something what Karoskys doing is so much worse." Tina mentioned and without hearing another word, Caroline began walking off.
