Mini-Sun was notified one morning that a teenage daycare volunteer was going to work with him.

Mini-Sun wondered who it could be, and it wouldn't be until a few minutes after the day began that he realized just who he'd be working with.

"Mini-Sun... meet your volunteer assistant, Elise Taylor!" said a worker, introducing Elise to Mini-Sun.

Elise waved hello to Mini-Sun. She was wearing a golden yellow cardigan with maroon jeans with an orange lanyard that had a tag which read "Pizzaplex Volunteer", a key to the daycare and all the areas within it, and a Superstar Daycare card on it. Her hair wasn't down with that headband with red ribbons Mini-Sun came to associate her with wearing, but rather her hair was tied in a ponytail and the thing holding it up was a red ribbon tied in a large bow.

Now, you must understand that workers at the Pizzaplex and volunteers at the Superstar Daycare were completely different roles. Pizzaplex workers were usually 16 or older and paid for their work, while Daycare Volunteers were mostly young teens/older preteens who only needed to assist the Daycare Attendant for non-profit reasons, and therefore they didn't need to be paid like the typical Pizzaplex worker.

"Elise! I wasn't expecting you to become a volunteer at the daycare," Mini-Sun said, surprised to see Elise in a place he least expected her to be. "Well, while me and my mom were visiting the daycare to see how my little sister is doing, we noticed that you were slowly losing your sanity. So my mom suggested I be a volunteer at the daycare since you and I have a great bond," Elise said with confidence in her voice.

Mini-Sun then took notice of her outfit. "I- I like your outfit," he said, nervously. "It's my uniform. It's colored like this in honor of Sundrop," Elise responded.

Upon hearing Elise say his father's name, Mini-Sun remembered his color scheme: Yellow, orange, red and maroon. Those colors always stuck out to him and it felt endearing seeing daycare volunteers use those colors in their uniforms.

But at the same time... it felt so odd to Mini-Sun, seeing someone else wear the colors of someone he held most dear. Sundrop, of course, meant a lot to Mini-Sun given that he was his own father, and he didn't know whether or not to take this as being disrespectful or to take this as a sign of respect.

Regardless though, Mini-Sun was happy that Elise was working with him as a Daycare Volunteer.
