Yuji cocked his head sideways as he looked into the endless abyss of Kazumi's eyes, "What happens to you when you get possessed by the god? Are you gone forever?" The girl shakes her head, "I don't think it works like that..."
She would like to think optimistically about her fate.
Itadori wondered if she would turn into a better version of him where instead of housing a curse she houses a benevolent god. Sukuna has been quiet the entire time, which meant peace for Itaodri but also left an uneasy feeling. There is always a calm before the storm.
Kazumi was also losing herself in her torment of doubt.
"What happens with us now? You are not just going to let us leave right?" Ayumu asked looking up to Gojo's blindfold.
"I've yet to decide so I am letting you two room with my students. The girl can go with Megumi, you can go with Yuji," Fushiguro looks up to his mentor questioning his choices, cursing him internally.
"You two are not trusted so we have to allocate appropriately," He reasoned, "And, I have an important business trip to take. I trust these two and sorry but Kugisaki can't know,"
Gojo began to walk out of the room and closed the door behind him.
The four left in the room stood in silence and Fusiguro and Itadori kept looking at their "prisoners" and back at each other trying to assess what to do.
"Can we untie them?" Itadori asked Fushiguro.
"..No..?" He said but it sounded like more of a question.
Ayumu stood up from his chair, now untied. "No need, I got it covered. Just lead us the way," He said as he gestured for his younger sister to get up. With a confused expression on her face got up and gave a small bow to the two boys.
Itadori laughed and walked out of the classroom the siblings and his friend following him closely.
Fushiguro's mind was racing thinking about every possibility of a fight breaking out and the two siblings would escape the premises. He kept a close eye on them sending glares to the backs of their heads.
Kazumi and Ayumu made eye contact, Kazumi shivering under the glare of the shinigami user. Ayumu was mostly nonchalant as he knew he was not going to try anything.
After making many turns and going up and down corridors they reached the dorms and Itadori stopped in front of his dorm while Fushiguro stopped next door. Kazumi was behind him and Ayumu narrowed his eyes on Fushiguro causing the boy to squirm under his gaze.
The ravenette composed himself before opening the door and let the girl step inside first. He closed the door behind him hearing the close of Itadori's door mimicking seconds later.
