He had thought that the drugging incident at Gong Family evening ball would be his first and last time meeting this hateful woman. Who could've thought he would be assigned to protect her?

Back to the bakery, Lisa sighed in satisfaction. No matter what, sweets always did wonders for her mood.

Before Lisa could pay, Gong Yoo has already received the bill from the waiter. It was his first spending some quality time with his baby girl, how could he let her pay.

The trio walked out of the bakery, talking about small things before Old Master Gong raised the topic that has been bothering him for quite a few days "Girl, do you, by any chance happen to know Jungkook?"

No matter what, he would never believe it if someone says that the little devil likes his girl. That man is incapable of such human feelings. So, does that means she is being forced, or is there anything else?

Before she could enter inside, Gong Yoo's voice stopped her. She turned around to look at the man questioningly.

Gong Yoo walked towards her car. Yes, he should just tell her the truth, he would do everything in his power to protect his children.

No matter how he had hardened his heart, looking at her like this made him forget all his decisions. He wanted to hear her call him 'dad'. His head filled with countless emotions, as his ever so sharp and powerful eyes, turned dim. He absent-mindedly walked towards her, unaware of everything else.

Three continuous gunshots were fired but before they could reach her, a flash of black was seen as a man embraced her in his arms before they fell on the road.

Jungkook tightly shielded her in his arms as his back hit the hard road.

"Darn it! Seal the whole place, no one should get out of here," All the four elite groups were in a defensive mode almost immediately.

Though it was a deserted lane, there were still some people here and there, making the situation messier and chaotic.

Their one minute of recklessness was going to get them killed now. If anything would have happened to Lisa, they would have been killed by their respective bosses.

Gong Yoo stood there, stunned. He was unable to comprehend what happened. He tightly clenched his hand that was extended to caress her head. His distraction vanished in a flash as a sharp light glinted in his eyes.

His eyes staring daggers at the direction from which the bullets were shot. Good, very good! He was muddle-headed for a moment and some unidentified bastards dared to attempt an assassination on his precious.

At a certain corner, on a high building, a man in black shivered at the intense gaze as the number he dialed got connected "Boss, that person instructed us that if Gong Yoo interacts abnormally with any person in his or her 20s, we should finish that person instantly."
