129.Taehyung is suffering from depression

"Yes, I can do it. What's the big deal..."

"What are you doing here at my place?" came Jennie's voice and Taehyung stiffened. He turned around to find her standing right behind him. It appeared she has just come from outside.

"You... I.." Ahh... What the fucking hell is this. How can I stutter when I was trying to confess?!

"If there is nothing else, you can leave."

"I li... Can I live here with you? Since you don't want to be my mistress and live in my place, let me live here and I don't mind warming your bed for you..." Taehyung stopped his sleek mouth as soon as he realized what he was saying. It just came out of his mouth in a flow and no, he wasn't being shameless.

The man's face was expressionless as ever yet one could see visibly how his ears turned red.

Jennie's hand on the doorknob paused as she turned around to look at him. Her blue eyes seemed to have glitters filled in them, as her short hair danced along with the slow wind.

She looked at the man standing in front of her with a raised brow. The man looked ever so handsome in his dark green business suit, his pale face appearing even paler yet it didn't deduct his looks. It only made him even more attractive.

Like Lisa had once said, Taehyung was like a vampire, not only by his 'stay alone' attitude but also from his looks. For a moment, Jennie forgot about everything as she stared at him blatantly, completely mesmerized by the hot mess that he was.

Taehyung took a step forward towards her and she immediately snapped out of her thoughts as she replied "No."

"That actually, someone has purchased the whole residential area for a big project, including my condo. I wanted to refuse but that person was big shot I couldn't afford to offend. Sigh... I had to sell it. I was quite attached to that place but what can I do now?" Taehyung perfectly played the pity card since the girl escaped from his honey trap.

He was naturally a fox. He has listed all her weaknesses like her low EQ, less interest in business world etc. How could he not use it to sneak inside her life?

Although this was not a part of Jin's self-directed script but since the initial dialogues changed, then it wouldn't be a big deal to turn over the whole act, right?

If only he had a fox tail, it would be circling as fast as helicopter blades and Jennie would know that she is letting a fox in the house.

Jennie frowned. It was such a pity that such a nice condo was sold.

True enough, she took the first step inside his trap. Even if she wasn't updated on business details, but she knew it very well that her brother, sister-in-law and Taehyung are people nobody would dare to offend in Beijing. Since someone threatened this man, he must be some big shot.

It's just that his plot was full of loopholes yet she had yet to notice anything amiss as her heart was full of pity. She was even feeling sympathetic for him. Her heart was worried that he is mildly depressed or else he wouldn't feel as such. Poor man, how deeply was he traumatized to actually suffer like this?

He even helped her before, she should do the same right since he is facing problems?

"You can live here," she said sternly "But don't invade in my privacy."

Taehyung nodded obediently. He even had a bite of his dessert as he hugged her tightly inhaling her body fragrance "Thanks, Jennie. If not for you, I wouldn't have known what to do."

His breathe fanning her neck as her heartbeat kept increasing.

"I'll go and arrange my luggage," Taehyung spoke and walked before she could come to her senses. Jennie stood there dumbfounded as she watched his broad back.

She raised her hand to her chest as she felt her fast heartbeats. That man might have depression, but she seems to have heart issues.

"Heart problem, it is," Jennie muttered to herself as she entered inside her villa, completely unaware of the devilish sly smile on Taehyung's face.

"Jennie, let me see how long can you resist your desires for me," Taehyung smirked at the thought of her adorable reactions.
