46.Since when did they change their attitudes?

Taehyung and Jennie had broken the kiss long ago and they were now standing in the corridor as the atmosphere between them was awkward.

Jennie broke the silence as she said "Why did you have to do it? Did I say anything wrong? Weren't you anxious because your girlfri..."

Before she could finish what she was saying, Taehyung kissed her again.This kiss was not long passionate kiss like before.Instead, it was was short and sweet lingering kiss which left a fleeting effect on her lips.

He looked straight into her blue eyes as he said "Mention that again if you want me to kiss you once more."

Her face turned red as she averted her gaze and said "It's your private life and I don't have any right to mention it.It's indeed my fault."

She turned around and started walking away from him.He grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him.She bumped into his firm chest as she raised her head to look at him with a questioning expression on her face.

"She is not my girlfriend.She is Lali's bestfriend and I treat her like a sister.She also sees my like her brother.She works at Blue Stars and she was asking for a leave when she passed out.So, I brought her here." Taehyung said.

Jennie looked at him and his eyes were revealing that he was saying the truth.She pursed her lips "You don't need to explain it to me.Furthermore, maybe the other woman who was with you in the airport was your girlfriend."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow and pulled her even more closer "That interested in my girlfriend when you were openly flirting with you boyfriend at airport?"

Jennie furrowed her brows "Doh Kyungsoo is my bodyguard.Leave my hand and let me go."

Taehyung's lips curved up when he heard that the man that day was her bodyguard.He looked at the lioness who was trying to free her hand from his grip.He sighed "Well, the other girl that day was Jisoo's manager."

She stopped struggling out of his grasp when she heard this.She raised her eyes to look at him as she thought 'Why do I care about his girlfriends? Do I really have a crush on him?'

Jennie was never like this, before.Infact, this is the first time in her life that she was being this unreasonable infront of someone she barely knows.

She has never got much attention from her family.That doesn't means that they don't love her, they do.But, being the CEO's of two enormous companies like Jeon Empires and Lee Corps, their parents naturally didn't have much time for them.

Jungkook was busy with Jeon Empires from teens.Being their elder brother, he had many responsibilities.So, he had to stay beside their father and learn everything perfectly.

Jin and Jennie, being the twins were always together.Though they bicker a lot, but they always stay with each other. Jungkook was a bit distant but yet, the bonding between the siblings is always unbreakable.They all had their goals and they worked on it till they achieved it.

Jennie is sometimes unreasonable when it comes to her brothers.This is the first time she is being stubborn and illogical infront of someone else.

Taehyung was looking into her eyes as he wondered 'Since when did I start explaining myself? Why does it matters what she thinks of me?'

He has always been cold and aloof to everyone except for his little princess and grandfather.Their family has been in many difficult situations.His sister was almost in depression after their mother's death.

And being the elder brother, he had to shoulder many responsibilities when his sister started studying abroad.He has faced a lot of difficulties and struggles to make to it where he is today.

Lisa and Taehyung, both are intelligent.Their knowledge and high IQ has always been a boon to them.It was their strong efforts that they have successfully started their own legacy and made the Tangs raise to their real position again.

Taehyung has never explained himself to any woman.This is the first time.He didn't want to explain himself but there was voice in his heart asking him to not let her misunderstand him.And he couldn't resist it, he didn't want to go away from him.This feeling was unusual and contemporary to him.

They both snappd out of their thoughts as they heard a sound coming from the room.

They looked at each other and entered the room together.

Jennie walked towards Jisoo who was sitting on the hospital bed as she asked "Are you feeling better now?"

"Yes.." Jisoo said as she raised her head.She paused when she saw Jennie and added "Weren't you the one at airport?"

Jennie nodded "Jennie"

Jisoo smiled as she said "Nice to meet you, I'm Yang Jisoo."

"Nice to meet you too." Jennie replied.

Taehyung walked towards them as he said "Sooyah, did you have to exhaust yourself to this extent?"

Jisoo pursed her lips "You didn't tell Lali about it right?"

He narrowed his eyes before saying "She was already here to meet you.She was really worried before I informed her about your condition."

Jisoo looked around as she asked "Where is she? Why did she leave without meeting me?"

Taehyung pursed his lips as he stared at Jennie with playful eyes.

Jennie choked on air as she started coughing profusely.

Taehyung patted her back as he passed her a glass of water before saying "Be careful."

Jennie drank the water as she thought 'Am I supposed to say that sister-in-law left after seeing her brother kissing me so passionately.' Her face was turning scarlet red just by thinking of the kiss.

Jisoo narrowed her eyes as the Sherlock Holmes inside her was awakening.She could feel that there is something fishy here.She narrowed her eyes as she thought 'Since when did big bro start being playful with women? Dr.Jia was so cold to him last time at airport, why is she blushing today? I am being a third wheel here I think.'

Jennie composed herself and said "You were sleeping so they left."

''They?" asked Jisoo.

Before Jennie could reply, Taehyung said "You will know when you meet her."

Jennie nodded and said "Don't overwork, you need sufficient rest and some regular therapies.Medications are not required."

Jisoo smiled "Alright, I will pay the fees first," she paused as she turned to look at Taehyung "Big brother, I have already texted my driver.I think he will be reaching here soon.I will just go home and take rest."

Taehyung nodded "I have paid the fees.You just take rest and I'll tell my secretary to inform your manager about it.You can take a leave," he paused and added "Do you need me to drop you?"
