"He will be alright..." Lisa muttered as she looked at the man pacing back and forth.

"Yes... He will.." Master Gong replied, trying to console himself.

The hospital hallway was eerily quiet. The dull beige tiles and the identical doorways edged in grey-suited the situation very well.

Just as Lisa was about to stand up, a hand softly pressed on her shoulder. "Sit there," Taehyung frowned.

"I am fine, brother."

Taehyung scoffed, "Where is Jungkook?"

"He will be there to pick me up," she softly murmured.

"He better be. How could he let you come all alone? That man is a..."

"Brother.." she interrupted him, before nudging his arms slightly. He followed her gaze and looked at the man anxiously looking at the Operation theatre.

He tucked his hand inside his suit pocket before walking towards the man. "It will be fine," he said facing the operation theatre. He was not consoling the man; it was a fact that the surgery was a minor one and he trusted Jennie and her skills.

Master Gong nodded.

Taehyung sighed. He is not an emotional person but the concept of 'flesh and blood' was rather magical.

No matter how much he denied, it was a fact that he cared for the old man. Or else he would not have gotten out of his car to help him that day when he was suffering from a stroke.

Both the man indifferently stood there with one hand tucked in their pockets.

Lisa pursed her lips. 'Like father, like son,' she thought.

"How is he?" Master Gong coldly asked the nurse who walked out of the OT.

The nurse flinched at his cold demeanor. "T...The operation was successful," she stuttered before walking away as fast as possible.

The temperature in the surrounding returned to normal as the man closed his eyes before letting out a sigh of relief.

"The patient would be transferred out of the OT soon," Jennie said as she walked towards the trio, giving the Kim siblings a questioning look. Why are they here?

She quickly averted her gaze when Taehyung looked into her eyes. Her face turned red at the reminder of what happened yesterday. Due to her night shift, she didn't have the time to go home. She had a few hours of sleep in the morning before she performed Old Master Gong's surgery.

So, it could be considered as the first time they were seeing each other after being in a relationship officially.

Gong Yoo and Lisa being smart people obviously observed those sneaky-shy glances the couple shared.

"_" 'Am I getting a daughter-in-law and son-in-law free along with my children?' the man inwardly thought.

Appreciation filled Lisa's eyes as she gazed at her brother. He finally did it!

"Are you sure that Jungkook is coming?" Taehyung asked as he glanced at Lisa.

"Uh-huh.."

Just as she stood up, he quickly held her shoulders to support her.

"Brother, it's not that serious. I can still walk like normal people."

"What do you know? You're so delicate," He furrowed his brows. What if she accidentally hurt herself?

"Who are you calling delicate?!"

Master Gong and Jennie tried their best not to laugh at them. The Kim siblings bickered in a rather unique way.

"You're rather prone to accidents and injuries. I'm just worried about you," Taehyung sighed before patting her head.

"I'm really fine, brother," She smiled, "And Jungkook would be reaching soon."

"Alright."

The man then walked towards Master Gong awkwardly. How should he address him? His imaginary foxtail drooped down in confusion.

"Fa...Cough..cough.. I'll visit Old Master Gong when he is awake," He grabbed Jennie's hand as soon as he said that while taking large strides to escape the situation. That term 'father' refused to roll out of his tongue no matter how he tried.

"Brat, is this how you're supposed to address us?" But Taehyung behaved as if he didn't hear it as he walked away.

Although he was already certain about it, he still asked Lisa, "She was....?"

"Your daughter-in-law."

Master Gong almost choked on his saliva. Are both his children so passionate about this thing called 'Flash Marriage'?

"They're married?"

Lisa blinked, "Eh... I mean your 'future' daughter-in-law. They are currently dating."

The man sighed, it was good to know that both his kids were not so fast forward, "Since when?"

"They just started yesterday," she casually said to which the man nodded his head, "Oh... Wait, what?!"

"_" Why did both of them looked like they are so in love when they started dating just yesterday? Sigh...!

"Taehyung, where are we going?" Jennie asked trying to match his pace.

"Have you noticed the dark circles under your eyes? Do you have a death wish by working so hard?" Taehyung coldly spoke as he entered the elevator.

She paused, just one step away from entering inside. Her hand gripped the corner of her shirt as she slightly flinched. "You're so rude," she softly muttered before turning around to walk away.

He grabbed her wrist, twirling her around, and before she knew it, her face was already pressed in his chest as he enveloped her in his embrace.
