Karishma's POV

"So when did you guys move in together? How did our grandparents feel?" Orhan asked and Haseena started giggling.

"My mom was so mad," she chuckled. "But she was mad at anything and everything I did at this point."

"It was the most exhausting thing, though, looking for a place," I said.

"Yeah, especially finding one within our budget."

"Which considering we were two clueless individuals dealing with everything first time on our own, wasn't very big."

Haseena sighed, "thankfully your parents helped us a little bit, but other than that we were on our own."

…..

"Hase, your mom’s going to be mad," I said, leaning on the back of the chair she was sitting at as we looked at different houses for rent in the area.

"When isn't she mad at me?" Hase questioned.

I laughed. "You're not wrong there, Mi Amor."

"Exactly," she said smiling up at me for a quick moment before going back to looking.

"I like that one," I said, pointing to a small two-bedroom house.

"I don't think we can afford this one." Haseena sighed.

"I think we could, it's cute and it's a rent to own. At least put it on the list for us to visit," I told her and let out a gasp. "Hase! It has a huge bathtub, think of the shower romance and then the nights after a long day of school and work and we're both tired and we sit in a nice bubble bath and hold each other."

"Okay, well look at this one at least."

I looked at the house she was pointing out and hummed. "I like it."

"Yeah? Me too."

"I'm excited for this, Hase, I can't wait to live with you."

"Right back at you cutie."

I smiled and kissed her cheek. "I love you."

"I love you, too." "Are you ready to go too at some of these places?"

"I'm ready when you are."

I pulled away from her and took her hand. "Let's go."

"Perfect," Haseena said smiling at me. We left Hase's house and went out to my car and we drove to the first place, a small, one bedroom house with a single bathroom and living room. It was small but if we got it, we wouldn't have to ask my parents for help.

"This isn't it," she said with a sigh.

"Nope," I said.

"To the next one."

"We should at least give it a chance Hase, it's only three fifty a month, that's not bad," I reasoned. Sure, it wasn't the ideal home but, it was something the two of us could afford.

She sighed, "Okay, okay."

We went in and immediately I knew it wasn't for us and I let out a sigh and looked at Hase. "Well, this was the cheapest but." I said, frowning. "I don't think we should live here."

"Told you."

"Okay, do you want to look at the next one?" I asked, the two of us going back to the car.

"Yeah I do."

"Okay, this one's my favorite, I think we could make it look really cute, like plant flowers in front of it and decorate the front patio," I said, driving to the house.
