Trust my rage (Loki x Reader)

Chapter 22 - Ambush

"THOR!"
Loki suddenly yelled. The last thing you remember was Loki suddenly coming on top of you, shielding you from whatever hit the vehicle.

Through the peek of your eye, something came flying at the vehicle. Thor shielded himself with mjolnir, preparing for impact. The entire car shook, swerving around getting hit in multiple spots.

"Multiple collisions detected. Defense mode engaged." The Ai announced as the windows suddenly became tinted, with a percentage visible on all the windows which identified the strength of the defense system.

You weren't exactly affected, considering Loki held you and protected you. You were in such a state of shock, you barely even noticed the kind gesture. You didn't notice the fact that he threw himself in front of danger purely to protect you.

The spinning had finally stopped. It was a shame it decided to stop as the car was in the midst of flipping. The entire car was upside down with you three inside of it, luckily seatbelts were worn.  Loki was still protecting you, then backed away as the moment had finally caught up to him.

You began coughing, as smoke began to fill the vehicle. Thor had began groaning in pain, as he had taken the initial blunt of all the attacks, he had finally gotten himself into a position where he could get out from, he banged on the window, gasping for air. He had blood dripping from his face, and his hair was messed up. Loki was also gasping for air, trying to figure out what was happening. You sat there panicing, the claustrophobia began settling in.

"Friday what's going on?!" Thor yelled, trying to punch his away out of the car. The entire view was obstructed. You could only hear helicopters fly above the car, and the marching stomps of men and clicks of guns getting closer to the car.

A hologram appeared, showing the view from the outside. Men were surrounding the car with guns and RPG's, whilst a helicopter flew above you.

Suddenly a man stepped forward. A familiar man.

The same man who had sent you that note. The same man who had escaped fate. The same man who wanted you dead.

Whilst you were rotting in a cell, he had made allies and formed armies of minions specifically to destroy you.

He had stepped forward, observing the vehicle for anything.

"What's going on?" Loki yelled.
"He- T-that's the man who.." You were out of breath, you're heart was racing at an unhealthy pace.
"Y/N, calm down." Loki said, putting his hand against your cheek.
"I- He was the m-man I fought with.." You finally said, your claustrophobia was getting worser and worser by the second. You began to mentally break down.
"I-i need to get out of here!" You started banging on the windows. You began screaming for help hoping for any sort of miracle.
"Loki stop her!" Thor yelled.
Loki grabbed you, holding you with one hand covering your mouth. You fought against him, but gave up after five seconds. Thor put his hand up, a gesture to be quiet. You all stayed quiet as the man began laughing, tense for what he was going to say next. Loki was still holding you, covering your mouth so you wouldn't make any sound.

The man had heard the banging. "She's still alive." He told the army of men.

He began to walk away. "Fire."

Bullets after bullets aimed at the car, ricocheting off the metal. The safety percentage caught your eye. You watched as it slowly plummeted down with every single bullet. Loki had finally let go of you.

"Safety levels critical." Friday announced, as warning alarms began to ring inside. You covered your head in a cross, trying to protect yourself from the constant shaking.

"I HAVE AN IDEA!" Thor suddenly yelled, it was hard to hear anything considering the constant reoccurring sounds of impact, that was just enough to deafen an average midgardian.
