"Malfoy!" I stormed to him the next day after class and he looked at me confused.

I pinned him to the wall with my wand and got my face closer to his.
"You worthless scum!"

"What Evans?" He said trying to sound unbothered ,but sounded nervous instead.

"You wanted to kill Buckbeak! You bastard!"

[TALK WITH MALFOY AND HIS FATHER AT THAT TIME]

"Father don't put Buckbeak down"

"Why? It hurt you. It should be put down"

"It's just extra work ,just leave it. I'm fine"

"No. We're going to put him down!" Mr.Malfoy stormed out of the room and Malfoy helplessly called out to him to stop ,but it was no use.

[BACK TO PRESENT]

"N-no I didn't-"

"Watch your back Malfoy ,cause that wasn't a smart move" I whispered loudly and left him there to catch his breath ,while his friends stared with wide eyes.

A few weeks later.

"Bloody hell what is this" Ron commented on today's breakfast and I laughed at his reaction.

We ate in silence, still not able to comprehend what happened yesterday.

Suddenly Moine came to our table and slammed the newspaper infront of me.

"Uhh good morning?" I looked at her unsure and she still kept that angry face.

"Are you dating Malfoy?!"

"Wh-wha- uh- I?! No?!" I laughed and looked at the newspaper.

It was a picture of us in Slughorn's party with the title 'HEIR OF MALFOY HAS ALREADY FOUND HIS LOVE?'

Oh my gawd-

"Guys- it's not what you think"

"WHY ARE YOU HOLDING MALFOY'S HAND?!" Ron was surprised

"Yeah why?"  Ginny had a more curious grin on her face.

"Slughorn! Not by choice!"

I tried my best at explaining everything to my friends ,which wasn't a lot actually.

"And this!?" Moine flipped the page ,revealing a picture of me pinning Malfoy to the wall.

Damn that looks more intimate than it actually was.

"I was threatening Malfoy because he wanted to kill Buckbeak!"

"Sure doesn't look like it"

We all had a long convo and they finally believed me after a bit of persuasion.

Goddamit,them reporters.

"Well atleast we saved Buckbeak.." Harry said after a long silence.

"Wanna go to the three broomsticks today?" Ron clapped his hands together and I sighed.

"Imma stay in. I can't go anyway."

"You sure? We can try to disguise you"

"It's fine really!" I giggle lightly and when they left to get ready ,I roamed around the halls.

While roaming I saw Draco running into a random hall and his father following him.

I quickly ran to the corner and hid behind it.

"I never wanted you to kill Buckbeak!"

"Watch your mouth Draco ,I did this for you!"

"I never wanted this!"

"You ungrateful-" Lucius raised his walking stock ,wanting to hit Draco ,but a sudden noise behind me ,made them look at my direction.

I quickly pulled my head in and held my breath.
When I saw that the coast was clear ,I quietly ran away and watched as Lucius also went away ,leaving Draco alone.
