Draco

After a while ,I still couldn't calm down.
When I closed my eyes, I could see Draco on the floor and smell the blood everywhere.

So I decided to visit him. Without a word to my friends.

I went inside the infirmary to find him sleeping peacefully in his bed.

"Father I'm sorry I couldn't-" Draco jolted up when he realized someone was there ,but I tilted my head confused.

"What are you doing here Evans?" His expression changed and I sighed.

"Feeling any better?"

"I can't feel a thing"

I stared at his wounded body and looked away again.

"Was this all part of your filthy plan?" He said bitterly and I think he meant the one where I threatened him.

"I wouldn't even wish that for my enemy" I chuckled.
"And besides ,I said I'm sorry"

He didn't respond and the longer we sat in silence ,the more I had to think about that incident.

Tears dripped down my cheeks unwillingly and he looked at me confused.

"Why are you crying?"

"Because of you dumbass!" I wiped them away when I noticed and looked away akwardly.
"I feel pity"

"Well I don't need any help. Not from a  stupid mudblood like you"

I was taken aback. I had gotten so used to Draco being friendly with me (because he had no other choice as always T-T) ,that I forgot how he really was.

"Maybe I am stupid for helping a Malfoy" I chuckled bitterly ,making fun of the word Malfoy and changing my tone  "But atleast I'm not a coldblooded snake like you" I smiled bitterly ,hurt by his tone ,leaving the room.

"Where were you?" Moine asked and I shrugged.

"Taking a walk to clear my head."

"I'm sorry" Harry suddenly apologizes ,but why to me? I didn't respond. Instead, I ruffled his hair and smiled slightly.

We all walked to class and spent a dreadful day full of learning and suffering.

Damn why do we have school when Voldy is on the loose-

"The Yule Ball is coming up. Who are you all going with?!" Hermoine then looked at us with a huge grin and I tilted my head.

"You're seriously thinking of Yule Ball when Voldy is actively wandering around?" I scoffed and she rolled her eyes.

"He can't get us here anyway. We have the best protectors and teachers" Moine explained and I nodded hesitantly.

Is it enough to hold that freak back though..

When we walked out from our last lesson a sudden figure leaning against the door startled me.

"You should stop doing that!" I put a hand over my heart and glared at Malfoy.

He just chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

"Well since you're healthy you might aswell show up everywhere am I right?" I said sarcastically not even looking at him.
"Piss off Malfoy"

"Are you..joking with Malfoy?!" Ginny leaned in to whisper and I jolted up.

No I'm not-

"You remember our three day bet right?" He uncrossed his arms ,standing up straight and I nodded hesitantly.

"Again?!" Moine shook her head sighing and I shrugged.

"I thought I would win okay?!" I looked back at her and she rolled her eyes.

"I need you to be my Yule Ball partner-"

"Piss off Malfoy!" Harry and Ron ,who suddenly showed up ,grabbed my arm and dragged me away with them.

Yule Ball partner? What the hell why me?!

"You okay? You seem out of it?" Ron tilted his head.

"What did he say.... Malfoy?" Harry asked me and I shook my head.

"I just have to do something for him and I am not looking forward to it"

"Why?" Harry now also crossed his arms and I sighed embarrassed.

"A bet. I lost in Wizards Chess" I looked at the ground guilty and Ron gasped longly.

"YOU WERE MY BEST STUDENT-?!HOW?!WHAT-??"

"SORRY RON ,BUT HE WON?!" I frowned pointing at the empty hallway where that blondy once stood.

"You dissapointed me" Ron said quietly squinting his eyes ,pretending to be a grand master.

"Sorry.." I smiled at him and he shook his head sarcastically.
