When we arrived at the end of the corridor ,Malfoy let go of my arm and just left through the backdoor.
"Wait! Where are you going?!" I shouted at him ,but he just gave me a glance.
"None of your business Evans" He muttered before leaving.
What an ass.
What did I expect-
"Heyy you and Malfoy eh? Did you make it official?" Blaise smirked at me as I arrived back at the party and I raised a brow.
"What..?"
"You're his date, no?"
"..no?" I scrunched my brows and shook my head.
"You don't have to lie to me. You're even wearing his ring" He chuckled.
"Look Zabini, I am not his girlfriend and will never be"
"You even talk like him!" I heard his faint voice slowly dissappearing as I went away to the golden trio and Ginny.
"Ew you look like a Slytherin" Ron scrucnhed his face and I punched his shoulder.
"Thanks Ron" I smiled sarcastically.
"You kinda look as if you're Malfoy's date" Ginny tilted her head and I sighed furiously.
"Everybody keep saying that!"
"Well cause it's true..you do look the part" Harry chimed in and I rolled my eyes.
"Never associate me with Malfoy EVER"
"Still ship it tho"

The next few days weren't any different.
Malfoy would ignore us as a whole and snap whenever someone even says a single word to him.
Plus his insults have gotten more and more personal to the point that it actually hurts.
Maybe it's his father?
"Malfoy what the hell" I shouted as he made first years fall in the hallway and just left the scene. He turned around and stared at me.
"Playing the big parent are you? Because you didn't have anyone growing up?"
"You scumbag!" I shouted back ,tears swelling up in my eyes .
That was supposed to be our secret ,that asshole!
I smiled at the first years as they ran away and went back to my dorm.
"Are you okay?" Moine asked me ,who came in with a red and runny nose.
"I'm fine" I muttered furiously landing on my bed and sleeping.
They didn't ask anymore questions and I was very grateful for that.

THE NEXT DAY
"Do you think Y/n is hurt by Malfoy's words? They seemed like frenemies ,but now they're just..enemies" Ginny whispered.
"It's better this way. I don't want her to get close to that snake" Harry hissed.
"Harry! Y/n is hurt and I don't know what to do" Moine frowned.
"He's not wrong. He has grown on her apparently ,judging on how she reacts to his comments now." Ron stated and the others couldn't do anything,but just hope that things get better soon.
"Let's visit Hagrid. He might find a solution"
