"Hyunjin, I'm nervous." confessed the brunette, tugging at the taller's arm. It was an understatement.

"Why, though? It's not the first time you meet him, Hannie" the older noticed Jisung flinch at the nickname, eyes opening with the usual fear that it reminded him of. Hyunjin cursed when he noticed his mistake "Sorry, I forgot. I won't call you that again, Sung." he apologized, turning to half-hug his best friend, who just nodded to express that it was ok.

The blonde was making some coffee for when the guests came and Jisung was nervously following around, holding onto Hyunjin's sweater like a lost kid. He couldn't help his anxiety and the older knew this. After all, it was the first time that he brought a crush to his house since his ex-boyfriend. He couldn't tell if his nervousness felt good, like when the thrilling feeling of confessing to someone settled on your chest, or if it made him want to go to back to his room, get under the covers of his comfy bed and jut sleep until it was over.

"Augh!" complained the taller male, startling the brunette a bit. "We don't have sugar!" he dramatically threw his hands over his head, walking towards the entrance of the house and picking his wallet and keys. He kept on mumbling complaints and stomping his feet in annoyance, but still went to twist the doorknob.

"Wait, you're leaving?" asked worriedly the younger, observing his best friend's movements from his spot on the kitchen.

"Yeah, I'll run to the convenience store that's down the road. It'll take only a minute!" said Hyunjin, rushing out the door and leaving a nervous Jisung standing there.

He looked at the door dumbfounded for a few seconds before feeling a shiver run through his spine. He then awkwardly patted his own brown hair, trying to set it perfectly so it didn't look bad. It was a dumb way of trying to get rid of some of his anxiety.

The boy walked through his house, checking the dust level, fidgeting with his fingers and humming a song quietly to calm down his nerves, but when the doorbell rang his efforts were proven useless.

He jumped and ran towards the entrance, peeking through the peephole just to see Minho and a blonde boy standing there, the first one rubbing his palms nervously on his thighs and the latter smiling brightly. For some reason, Jisung recognized the older's friend from somewhere, but he couldn't remember properly when he'd seen the boy before.

Just when the annoying doorbell rang for a second time, he realized he had been staring without actually moving for an absurd amount of time. He sighed, the air coming out shakily, and reached for the doorknob with a trembling hand. He gave one of his best smiles to his guests once he opened the door.

"Hi! I'm Felix!" automatically said the blonde male with a bubbly tone. His deep voice startled Jisung, who just stood there for a second.

"Hi, Ji." shyly greeted Minho, snapping the brunette out of his trance.

"Oh, sorry! Please, come in!" invited the puffy-cheeked boy. "Umm, so, actually, my best friend had to run to the store because we realized after making the coffee that we don't have any sugar." he nervously laughed, scratching the back of his neck.

The only thing that made his nervous subside was to see Minho acting shy due to the same problem.

"That's great!" said Felix. His deep voice had a slight foreign accent but Jisung couldn't put his finger on where it was. "Minho wanted to talk to you about something rather important!" he happily sang.

Felix elbowed Minho, probably trying to be sneaky, but Jisung could see it perfectly. It made his anxiety skyrocket.

"Yeah, I wanted to tell you something, Ji." spoke Minho. Jisung nodded, picking on his cuticles and nibbling on his bottom lip out of habit.
