"You know how to drive?' asked Minho in disbelief.

"Mhm, I just don't have enough money for a car."

Jisung had called Hyunjin just before to get the boy's permission to get his car just for the day, and the blonde had happily granted it, also announcing how he was staying over at Felix's tonight.

"That's kinda hot." commented Minho, fastening his seatbelt. He played it off as a joke but in reality it wasn't.

"That's because I'm hot." answered Jisung, confident.

"I can't deny your words in any rational way so I'll just totally and passionately agree with you." the overly serious tone Minho used made Jisung snort.

The brunette started driving to their 'secret' destination. It was a bit far away, like an hour or so, so they'd be there for dinner probably.

Jisung had everything planned in his head, even if it had been a spontaneous decision to take the older there. He just prayed for everything to go his way.

The drive was filled with conversation and jokes until Minho fell asleep, leaning his head on the window's glass. Jisung had to try his hardest to focuse on the road in front of him, wanting every second to look at the older peacefully resting next to him.

Before they arrived to the actual spot, Jisung stopped the car next to a convince store to buy some dinner. Minho stirred awake but the brunette soothed him with a kiss on the cheek.

"Stay sleeping," he whispered. "I'm going to buy something really quick." and Minho sleepily nodded, following the younger's petition with a comfortable sigh.

When Jisung got out of the car his cheeks went boiling red. Why on earth had he kissed Minho's cheek again?

He didn't have too much time to panic about it. He had to muster all his courage and let go of his anxiety and he did so taking a deep breath.

Because he was there again. He was at his hometown.

Two years ago he had promised himself he wasn't coming back ever again, but now there he was, standing in front of the local convince store with shaking hands.

He walked forward until he was inside of the little shop and as soon as he set a foot inside a warm cozy feeling settled in his chest.

"Jisung?" called an old man from the cashier.

"Hi, grandpa." he waved and walked closer to the man with a shy smile.

He wasn't really his grandfather, it was just the way Jisung had always called him. That kind old man was probably the only person Jisung missed from his hellish hometown. The only person who had truly cared about him.

"I thought I wasn't going to see you ever again, boy! How have you been?" the old man's tone was rusty with age, but still warm and comforting.

In truth, he hadn't changed that much. He just looked a little older, but that was a given knowing that he was at his late 70's.

"I've been good, grandpa. How about you?" said Jisung.

"Meh! Nothing new! My back hurts more, that's it." the man's lips curled with a smile that Jisung happily returned. "Anyway, I saw that sleeping boy in your car so hurry up and buy whatever you need before he wakes up and starts missing you!" he waved his hands, shoving the brunette away lovingly.
