One by one, the six boys jumped off the cliff down to the water, coming back out all wet an laughing. They all jumped with their clothes on, since none of them panned to go back up to get them if they hadn't.
"Why didn't you guys jump?" Felix's dripping body walked towards them as he took off his tshirt to let it dry.
"Didn't feel like jumping is all." said the brunette for both. With that answer, the blonde shrugged and let it go.
All their attention was now on Hyunjin, that had just come out of the lake and was running towards Jisung. The tall male literally threw himself at his best friend, wetting the boy's clothes along the way.
"HYUNJIN GET AWAY- NO, STOP, PLEASE!"
The older just laughed as he picked his best friend up, swinging him around as he run back to the lake to throw Jisung in.
"MOTHERFUCKER, LET GO! HYUNJIN NO NO NO NO NO-" his pleading was soon silenced as the blonde threw the boy underwater.
Felix, Minho and now also Seungmin watched, amused.
A puff of brown, wet hair emerged from the lake but soon disappeared again as Jisung drowned Hyunjin very aggressively, shouting how he was going to get his ass beaten. Changbin, instead of getting out of the water, joined the fight, siding with Jisung.
That was all it took for everyone else but Felix and Minho to join them as well.
The freckled didn't feel like getting in the lake again and the older just liked watching from the sidelines as everyone tried to commit murder between laugher.
"We haven't talked in a while." Felix's deep voice made Minho look up at him.
"Yeah, we've been both so busy." his tone was calm as he watched his best friend sit next to him with a smile. "How's life been?"
"Actually, pretty great. I kinda miss spending so much time with you now that you have a boyfriend but I have to admit I prefer seeing you with Jisung." Felix watched how Minho's eyes slightly lit up at the mention of the boy. "See! You've got this... sparkle in your eyes whenever someone mentions Sung! You didn't have it before, but I really like it now that you do."
The older looked away, embarrassed.
"I'm happier than I've ever been, Lix. I mean, all those thoughts I used to have are still there and it frustrates me a little, but they're just a tiny voice inside my head compared to the loud one shouting all the happy thoughts that now I can easily ignore it." he whispered, eyes now focused on the younger boy next to him.
Minho knew that since he had that breakdown in front of Felix, his best friend had been worried about him. He could practically see it every time they were together, how careful the blonde was with everything he said. He wanted to let the younger know that he didn't need to anymore, as Minho had never liked worrying people with his problems.
And it seemed to be working, Felix smiled and nodded his head. His eyes said everything words couldn't, especially how he was more relaxed now.
"I'm glad."
The freckled turned his head to look at the six boys fighting in the lake. Jisung had managed to slip out of the mess and was now walking back with wet clothes and dripping hair, a tired expression on his face as he mumbled complaints.
"It's freezing." he shivered, walking past the two best friends to a spot where the sunlight hit directly on his skin.
Minho stood up and took off his hoodie, staying with a long-sleeved t-shirt on. Felix watched as the boy walked towards Jisung, pulling the damped clothes off his chest and putting his sweater on while he ruffled the boy's hair to try and get some water out of it.
"You're gonna get sick" warned the older.
"I don't get sick." Minho rolled his eyes as Jisung looked at him with a smug face.
He just pinched the younger's cheeks, cooing at how cute the boy was trying to get out of his grasp.
Felix watched, a warm expression adorning his factions.
Until his stomach growled. The freckled got two steps closer to the lake and shouted with his deep voice, catching everyone's attention in no time.
"Let's eat! I'm starving!" he cupped his mouth so that the sound would reach the five boys in the water better, and was sure it did when they all got out and started walking towards him.
Chan, being the dad he was, managed to get everyone but Jisung and Minho in their underwear under the sun until their clothes dried up a little bit, placing the picnic cloth on a spot where sunlight hit directly and sitting everyone around it to start eating.
He gave out the sandwiches and water bottles and then sat back down next to Seungmin to start eating.
Soon, everyone was in their own conversation, eating mindlessly as they talked with each other.
They were finished pretty quickly and, as soon as they did, Felix and Jeongin both laid down to take a nap. Jisung kept shivering in his spot, so Minho went to wrap him up with his whole body, chest against back and head rested on the younger's shoulder.
"You're shaking way to much." whispered the older, having a loud sneeze as the only answer.
The red haired boy stood up, scooting Jisung with him, bridal style.
"Okay, that's it. We're going back to the house. You're getting sick."
The brunette whined, not really wanting to leave but feeling a headache growing.
"Nooo! I'm okay, Min, I promise!" he complained, trying to get out of the older's grasp.
"Changbin, tell Felix we're gone when he wakes up. Jisung's burning up." Minho said the last part more to himself as he felt his boyfriend's forehead with the back of his hand.
Jisung had already stopped complaining, since it only made his headache worse.
"Do you know how to get back from here, Minho?" asked the short guy, standing up in case the older needed help.
"Yep, I've been here before. Don't worry, Binnie."
Changbin nodded and sat back down again, waiving goodbye as Minho disappeared through the tall trees with a sick Jisung clinging onto him.
A few minutes passed and the older was finding hard to carry his boyfriend like that, however, the brunette seemed to have fallen half asleep so he didn't want to wake him up. Still, after some more hard steps between leaves and roots, he decided to just wake the younger up to quickly change his grip on him.
"Ji." he whispered, without getting much of a response. "Jisuuung!" still nothing.
He moved the hand he had under the boys back to caress his cheek softly.
"Ji, baby. Get on my back so we can get home quickly." he used a slightly higher tone, watching lovingly how Jisung groaned and hid his face on Minho's chest. "I know, darling. We'll be home cuddling soon, I promise. But you need to jump on my back, okay, sweetie?"
He couldn't help but find adorable how Jisung sleepishly nodded his head with a little smile. He quickly hopped on his boyfriend's back, securing himself by wrapping his arms around Minho's neck and leaning his head on the older's shoulder, closing his eyes again as he felt to strong hands grip at his thighs to keep him in place.
"My head hurts, Min." he pouted, nuzzling his nose on Minho's neck.
"Told you you were gonna get sick."
"I don't get sick."
Minho laughed, starting his walk again.
