Hyunjin splattered the last few droplets of fake blood on the corner of Jisung's mouth, taking a step back to admire his work.
His own face was way paler than normally, eyes covered with some bright green contacts and hair tainted black. His halloween consume was Maleficent and, with the poison green and black outfit he wore Hyunjin managed to pull it off amazingly.
Jisung had wanted something simpler, so he'd just chosen to be a good ol' vampire, with red eyes and fake fangs. He had dark red eyeshadow and matching lipstick color, along with some vampire bites on the side of his neck surrounded by purple veins Hyunjin had added. He wore a white shirt tucked into formal trousers and the typical black and red cape all vampires had.
"We both look great, Sung!" happily exclaimed the blonde -now raven- boy.
Jisung nodded, nervously fidgeting with his fingers. His trance broke when thr doorbell of his apartment rang and both him and Hyunjin rushed over to greet his friends.
Chan was dressed as a werewolf with scars all over his face and body, fake fangs and a coat of grey synthetic fur that covered just his back and part of his chest, leaving his abs and muscly arms on full display. With some ripped jeans and some old converse he had purposely stained with mud he really resembled the mythical creature.
Seungmin had chosen to go as Chucky, putting his orange hair to good use. He had fake stapled scars covering most of his head, blue contacts on that made his eyes stand out more. He wore a stripped rainbow jumper and an overall to resemble the character more, and his right hand carried a knife-looking little bag where he stored his phone and some more makeup for him and Chan if they needed it throughout the night.
Jeongin, making a contrast with the other two, was covered in green and had screws on both sides of his neck and head. He dressed as Frankenstein, his black hair slicked back to show a white scar that ran across his forehead. He was also wearing an overall, but, opposite of Seungmin, he had nothing underneath it, just his green-painted chest. He was smiling widely, revealing fake rotten teeth instead of his usual perfect smile.
They were all going to Felix's Halloween party, a big event for the freckled boy, who had specifically said that going dressed up in costumes was obligatory. He had essentially invited just Jisung and Hyunjin, but told them to bring more people if they wanted to, so now their whole group was stuffed at the back of Chan's car driving to where the blonde lived.
Jisung was nervous because Minho was going too. Part of it was probably his social anxiety working too, but the main reason was that he didn't know how to face Minho after what Hyunjin had told him the other day.
He was still deciding on how to advance on their relationship, because even if he really wanted to date the boy, he was also scared shitless at the possibility of him being like Myeongjun, his first and last boyfriend ever. The abuse he had to go through for three whole years had marked him more than what he thought it would.
He shook his head to escape the memories. For now, he would just get drunk and have fun, he told himself.
Maybe it wasn't the wisest option, but it was his opiton nevertheless.
Felix's house wasn't far, so no one was surprised when, five minutes after they left the boys' apartment, Chan pulled up in a parking spot next to the freckled boy's home.
The closer they got to the door, the louder the music sounded. Hyunjin rang the doorbell twice before Felix, already pretty tipsy, opened with a smile plastered on his rosy lips. His costume was... Dracula? He dressed almost like Jisung did.
