"Then, he dropped me off at school and left." finished Jisung.

Him and Hyunjin were sitting in the living room and the brunette was filling in his friend on the news of Minho.

"I love your boss." commented the blonde.

Jisung laughed and hit the older with a cushion gently. "Is that all you have to say?" he smiled.

"Of course not! First of all, well done on asking for his number," started the blonde.

"Well technically I didn't—"

"Sush, boy!" cut Hyunjin. "As I was saying, good job. Also, how on earth did you get Seungmin to actually give you normal advice on how to talk to a boy? He's always so sarcastic and..." the boy went silent, thinking for the best word yo describe the ginger. "He's just so Seungmin it's strange he even helped at all!"

"I don't know, honestly. He can be very sweet at times." Jisung answered.

"Just with you and Chan, apparently." Hyunjin joked.

"Well! Are you finished with commenting on the Minho thing?" said the brunette.

"No, I'd also like to know when's the wedding."

"If there ever is one, I'd never invite you." joked the younger.

Hyunjin gasped, making his friend laugh loudly in the process.

"And here I thought you were my best friend! Turns out you're just a fake and a filthy traitor!" he 'cried'.

"Seriously, Hyunjin!" Jisung got his friend's hands and shook them in the air right before letting his body fall over the blonde, burying his face on the other's chest and hugging him. "I'm screwed." he pouted.

"And why is that, Sunggie?" Hyunjin asked, hugging back. All the joking from before had been stripped off his voice and actions once he noticed the brunette's worry-tainted voice.

"Because! I have this big, fat crush on him already!" he cried out, squeezing his best friend a bit more. "And I'm scared...What if he's just like...?" the brunette couldn't finish the sentence without his voice breaking.

Memories flooded his mind. Bad memories, every single one of them. His breathing got uneven while all the disgusted looks they once gave him started repeating in his head as if he was receiving them all over again

He felt stupid, humiliated and small. The places of his body that were once splashed with the purplish color of bruises started stinging as if they were hurt like how they used to be.Tears slipped uncontrollably from his puffy eyes. It was weird how the thought of a single person that was no longer in his life could bring him back to the hell he suffered as a teenager.

Hyunjin started stroking Jisung's hair softly to calm the boy down, noticing the rising of one his panic attacks.

"Shhh, it's alright, Jisunggie. You're not there anymore, you're here with me, okay? Try to focus on that." asked the blonde with a calm tone, knowing all too well how to stop Jisung's panic attacks fast without them getting too bad to handle.

The younger nodded his head, still not letting go of his best friend. Eventually, following the older's instructions he managed to calm down. He still refused to let go of the blonde and the boy didn't find a problem in that, instead, he kept on stroking his best friend's brown locks.

"From what you've told me it doesn't sound like he'd be like that motherfucker, Sunggie." he tried to reassure his best friend.

"Don't call him that." Jisung scolded Hyunjin. He still felt fear rise within him when something bad was spoken about the boy of his nightmares in his presence, he couldn't help it.

"Sorry." apologized Hyunjin right after.  "Let's do something," he separated from the brunette boy and held him by the shoulders, smiling at him. "Bring Minho here so I can properly meet him."

"Why would that help in any way?" Jisung questioned.

"Trust me. I have a plan." Hyunjin answer, shaking his best friend softly.

"Sharing is caring." said the brunette, arching an eyebrow.

"Just trust me on this one, Sungsung!" he pleaded, pouting dramatically.

"Fine!" Jisung gave in, leaning back to hug his best friend like he had done before.

"Let's fucking goooo!" exclaimed the blonde, squeezing the boy tight and swinging him around lightly.

"Thanks for always listening to me, Jinnie." whispered Jisung. Hyunjin gave the boy a squeeze and smiled contently.

"Ohh!" exclaimed the blonde, letting go of the brunette to look at him properly. "Do you know that yesterday I read from one of Seungmin's weird psychology books that the longest friendships tend to start with hatred? Apparently it is because that way you've already seen all the bad sides of the other person and you've learned to accept and love them." he told the boy, who looked a bit confused.

"That's why we'll be lifelong besties, even though you still don't rap better than before." joked Jisung.

Hyunjin gasped and laughed right after. "Yah, well you still don't dance any better either, bitch!" he hit the younger's leg playfully. "Now get your damn phone out and invite Minho over this Saturday."

"But I have to work Saturday morning at the airport..." Jisung sighed.

"Then just tell him to come over during the afternoon, dummy!" Hyunjin said, walking over to the kitchen to see what he could make for dinner. "Sometimes I wanna smack the back of your head so hard it falls off, so thank me for controlling myself." he opened the fridge. His best friend didn't answer, focused on texting Minho.

"Alright, I've sent the message already. Now let's wait for his answer." Jisung left his phone on the coffee table of the living room and walked towards Hyunjin, anxious.

The older male closed the door of the fridge and hugged his best friend, sensing how tense he was.

"You know I love you, right?" he said.

"I know, and I love you too." answered Jisung.

"Wanna order some Chinese food or something? There's literally nothing left in the fridge." asked Hyunjin letting go of the younger to get his phone out of his pocket to call the restaurant.

"You do it, I'll munch on some bread or something. I'm not that hungry."

"Yeah, right, like I'd let you do that. Want some spring rolls? Ooh, I'm craving some sweet and sour chicken!" he said, scrolling through the menu.

"Hyunjin, I don't have money." Jisung said in a low voice, looking down embarrassed.

He had spent the last of his monthly pay at the place he had gone with Minho and he wouldn't be paid again until the end of the month, which meant on Thursday.

"So what? I was gonna pay even if you had." simply stated the blonde, giving Jisung his phone so the boy could decide what he wanted for dinner.

The brunette smiled apologetically. "Sorry, Jinnie. I'll give you the money when they pay me this Thursday."

"You don't have to, I like inviting you."

"Ugh, you're too much! Why did I hated you in the first place?" Jisung said, yet again hugging his best friend with a wide smile.

"I know, right? I'm such a good person!" the blonde kept on with the joke. "You have to do the dishes tonight and tomorrow, though!"

"Deal."
