Never Alone

Karl's Pov-

When we went into the living room I sat beside Jared. Sap looked at me and gave me a small nod.

" Can we talk?" I asked Jared quietly. He nodded lightly.

" First, I want to start by saying I'm extremely proud of you for being honest today. I'm not mad at you one bit. The paper says that I need to take your things though. Can you be honest and tell me where everything is?" I asked softly. I was expecting him to get really mad, but he just nodded. He stood up and we walked to his room. He moved around his room and gathered all of his stuff. He handed it all to me with tears in his eyes. I handed the stuff to Sapnap and guided Jared to his bed.

" Is that everything?" I asked gently. He shook his head.

" Can you tell me where the rest is?" Sap asked.

" I don't want to." He said quietly.

" I know sweetie, but you need to tell us," I said softly.

" Behind my bed, in the bathroom underneath the sink, in my top drawer, and under my desk." He said quietly. I looked at Sapnap and he nodded. He went around the room and gathered the rest of the stuff.

" I'm so proud of you sweetie. Now where you have to take medicine, I'll hold onto it since you've had bad suicidal thoughts." I said softly. He nodded lightly.

" I have a question," I said. He once again nodded.

" Why didn't you tell me what was happening at home? I would have helped you sooner." I said gently. He just shrugged.

" I thought I could handle it." He said quietly.

" Please know that you are never alone sweetie. I'm always here when you need to talk." I said softly. He nodded slightly. Sapnap walked out to deal with all of the things that were in Jared's room.

" Can I please have some time alone to process things?" He asked quietly.

" I guess but if you need anything at all you let me know," I said rubbing his back. He nodded. I kissed his head and went to find Sap. I walked to the bedroom and saw Sapnap looking at all the stuff.

" What do we do with all of this stuff?" He asked. I sighed and looked at it.

" We flush the drugs and I'll deal with the blades," I spoke. He nodded and we went to the bathroom. We flushed all of the drugs and I put the blades in the trash. We walked into the living room and sat down. We stayed on the couch for a little while until Jared's door opened. He walked into the living room and stood there. He had tears in his eyes, and he looked at the floor.

" What's wrong sweetie?" I asked softly. I stood up and he rushed over to me. He engulfed me in a hug. I wrapped my arms around him and held him.

" You want to sit down?" I asked softly. He nodded lightly. We walked over to the couch and sat down. Jared was still in my arms. His body started to shake, and his sobs started to become louder. I held him tighter and kissed his head. He held onto me tightly. I didn't mind it and rubbed his back.

" I'm so sorry for everything. I promise I don't like being like this. I'm just doing everything I can to live at this point." He said between sobs.

" I know sweetie. We are going to help you. I promise you aren't alone. I will do everything I can to help you. I love you so much." I told him softly. He nodded and continued to cry.

" I'll go start dinner. You can stay with him. He needs you." Sap said quietly. I nodded. Jared stayed in my arms sobbing loudly. I hated that he was going through so much. I wish I could take it all away. His grip never loosened. Spot jumped up beside Jared and laid his head on Jared's leg. Jared placed a hand on Spot's head. Someone knocked on the door and Sapnap went and opened the door. I turned and saw Shane standing there. He had what appeared to be a present. I smiled and waved him over. He sat beside Jared, but Jared didn't move from my shoulder. He had no clue that Shane was here. Shane rubbed his back gently.
