Maya was at Fletcher's concert in a bar on August 6, 2020. She had come alone and was listening to an opening act, an artist she didn't know well, sing. She turned her head and saw a pretty girl. This one seemed lonely too.

She turned her face back to the stage and continued to listen. She had looked at the woman again, but had turned her face away again to concentrate on why she had come. The concert. This had happened many times again. This girl wasn't «just» pretty, she was the most beautiful woman she'd ever seen.

After about twenty minutes, she headed for the bar.

-"Good evening, what can I get you?"

-I'll have a Coke Zero please".

- "that'll be ten dollars"

Maya had reached into her pocket.

- "Ten dollars?! It's usually seven!"

-"There's a concert tonight, honey. It's ten dollars."

The blonde had counted in her hand.

- "What do you have for... eight dollars tops?"

- "We don't have anything, honey. Beer's five bucks, but I don't think you're twenty-one."

- "beer is cheaper than coke?"

- "I'm sorry, honey, I don't make the rules".

-"give her her coke zero, I'll pay".

Maya had turned around and it was the woman she'd been looking at earlier.

- "you don't have to do this" this woman was even more beautiful up close if that were possible.

- "it makes me happy"

- "and for you it will be?"

- "a glass of white wine please" Maya had wondered who took a glass of white wine at the bar during a concert.

- "ID please"

- "you flatter me" the woman took out her card.

- "twenty-two years for a month and a half... the glass of wine and the coke, that'll be twenty-five please".

The young woman held out thirty dollars.

-,"By the way, my name is Maya... here" she said, holding out her eight dollars.

-"Pleased to meet you, my name is Carina. And you don't have to pay me back, I'm happy to do it. Sincerely."

- "thank you"

The barmaid had brought back the two glasses and the brunette's change.

- "You're welcome... have a nice evening..."

- "thank you, you too"

They had both returned to a similar height in the crowd. They hadn't gotten together, but they hadn't stopped glancing at each other all evening.
