✨Harmonie's POV✨

"Omo, I am done with that stupid boy." Uju complained for the tenth time to us.

"What will it take, for a boy to eat his food in peace?"
Zed asked, groaning.

It was lunch break, and Uju,  had been complaining about this boy she met at a party, who was a total pervert.

"Then stop texting him," Vanessa, otherwise known as Nessa advised, not looking up from her phone.

"Oohhh, Harm. You never introduced us to that fine boy that followed you to class today." Uju said to me and I rolled my eyes.

"So you finally remove your eyes from your phone, and the first thing you're thinking about is a boy." I said in disbelief.

"If you don't invite him over, I will." Uju said to me.

"Suit yourself, abeg." I told her, nonchalantly.

Then to my utter disbelief, Uju stood up, to where a very confused Kene and Kamsi were standing, then invited them over.

"This Uju girl is not alright oh," Zed exclaimed.

"The nerve of that girl sometimes, baffles me."
Nessa said, eyes still fixed on her phone.

"Forget Uju," I said, to them.
"Let's talk about my big brother and his gorgeous wife, Edwin."

Zed perked up instantly.
"What about them?"

He was obsessed with Rodney and Edwin. They were a power couple, sure.
But, so were his parents.
Dozie and Nneka Johnson.

They owned a perfume industry and were also a power couple. But Zed insists that his parents might be cute and all, but they're just gross.

"Rodney is launching his Art gallery and Edwin is launching her album. Like, how crazy is that?"
I asked them.

"Very crazy. Especially since your brother is so dreamy!"
Nessa exclaimed, finally looking up from her phone.

"Ew, Nessa, he's married."
I told her and we all chuckled as Uju finally returned.

"Guys! Meet Kamsi and Kene.
Kamsi, Kene, these are my friends, Zedidaih, Vanessa and Harmonie, whom you already know."

We all exchanged greetings to each other.

"Do you guys want to come over to Oba's place for a sleep over? My parents are going out of town, so it'll just be me and Jadesola."
I said, inviting them over.

"Can't. Need to babysit Candace." Zed said.

"Sorry. My dad is setting me up for a blind date," Nessa said apologetically.

"I'm free!" Uju said with a wide smile.

"Great." I said smiling. "We'll video call you all."

I saw, later on, that Zed and Kene were already getting familiar with each other.

The bell rang, and I stood up from my chair.

"We have Maths now, Uju."
I told her, and she stood up with me, groaning.

"Zed, your my ride home today." I reminded him.

"Isn't your dad coming?"
Nessa asked me in oblivion.

"Not my dad," I replied in gritted teeth.

"Vanessa!" Uju called. "Why now?"

"I'm going to class now. See you all later."

I stood and left the hall, ignoring their calls.

The word count is not accurate at all 💀.
But it's 500 and something sha 😘🧡.

I know. I know.

Bad chapter. But it's a filler chapter, so duh..

*sips blood, gently*
