Being with him, I always lose track of time. Right now, I'm sitting with him in our spot. It's the best feeling ever.
That we're here together, and no one else to ruin the moment. His loving arms around me. I couldn't ask for more.
The way he smells of ocean. The way he moves when hunting fish or rides the Ilu.
I can't stop admiring him. If someone had told me a few weeks ago that I would fall in love with Aonung, I would have laughed at them.
Before we knew it, we fell asleep in each others arms.
Waking up in each others arms the next day was something I wanted to happen every day for the rest of my life.
I moved a little, Aonung held me tighter. I guess he's still sleeping then.
I try not to move much, so I won't wake him up. "Don't move so much." He said in his sleepy voice. "Sorry," I replied.
"Don't worry, I should have woken up soon," he said, stroking my hair.I chuckled.
"Yeah, we should. I'm sure Neteyam would actually kill you if he finds us like this," I put my arms around his neck.
"He wouldn't do it," He chuckled.
"Oh yes, he would."
"No, he wouldn't,"
"Yes, he would."
"No, he wouldn't,"
"Yeah, no, he wouldn't,"
"Told you," he said. "Oh shut up," I laughed. He chuckled at my response.
"Better let's get going," I stood up, giving him a hand to help his lazy ass from the ground.
He took it. Gosh, he's heavy.
Neytiris POV
Last night, after Avyanna walked away, I couldn't help but feel worried as to where she was going, but I trusted her.
Now I'm looking for her. I couldn't find her. I was about to go and ask Ronal or Aonung if they had seen her.
I couldn't help but notice two figures walking at the beach. Avyanna and Aonung.
They look so happy, holding hands and laughing. I smiled at the sight. It kinda reminds me of when Jake and I were younger.
Laughing and being together, just the two of us. I felt someone's presence next to me. Looking over, I saw Ronal.
"They look great together," she spoke first. I smiled, "Yeah, they do,".
"They remind me of me and Tonowari, young and in love." She smiled at the sight of the two of them.
Avyannas POV
Looking in the distance, I see my mother and Ronal looking over at us, both smiling.
I smiled back. "Our mothers are looking at us," I whispered to Aonung.
"I know something they might be waiting for," he replied.
"Like what?" I asked.
He turned me towards him. I tilted my head in confusion. He then kissed me deeply and passionately.
In the distance, I could see that our dads joined our mothers.
Mom was holding dad back from storming to us.
I'm sure he was ready to kill Aonung.
Aonung had his hands on my waist, and I had mine around his neck.
We broke it. I put my forehead on his, closing my eyes, I smiled.
"I see you," I whispered. I swear I could feel him smirk. "I see you too," he whispered back.
"I got you something," he said as he called his Ilu. I raised an eyebrow as to what he got for me.
"What is it?" I ask as he took something from the Ilu.
He handed me something wrapped in in algae. I carefully opened it.
I gasped seeing what it was. A new top. A beautiful one as well.
"Are you asking me what I think it is?" I asked in disbelief, looking at him with wide eyes.
"Yes," he nodded. I wrapped my hands around him tightly. I can't believe it. I kissed him with happy tears in my eyes.
