You have come out from your after school college prep course, a cold chill in the air hitting your face, as you make your way to Constellations to meet Seokjin. You were hesitant about meeting with him due to the off chance your parents finding out, but you try to keep a cool head as you enter the warm and inviting café.

It's a mandatory project. You remind yourself before adding, Just get through this and things can go back to normal.

Glancing around, you notice that Seokjin wasn't there yet, so you order a drink and a croissant before seating yourself near the viewing window so Seokjin could see you when he arrives. A small part of you held out that he wouldn't show up, that something would come up on his end. You were casually reading a book while sipping on your coffee when Seokjin finally arrived.

He spares you a smile while sitting across from you. "You wouldn't believe the traffic." Seokjin comments before apologetically adding, "Sorry for keeping you waiting."

"It's okay." You offer. "It's not like I was waiting for long."

Seokjin nods before a frown adorns his face. "I was hoping to make it here before you so I could pay for your order."

You wave him off. "It's okay. I wasn't sure what you wanted, so I didn't get you anything."

An appreciative smile tugs at his lips. "Like I would've allowed you to pay for me." He teases before adding, "A gentleman wouldn't allow it."

You hum your acknowledgment before pulling out your laptop and textbook, preparing to get into the thick of research. You take note of his casual appearance. It was the first time you had really seen him out of his school uniform. A faint blush colors your cheeks as you avert your gaze from Seokjin.

"We should probably get started on our project if we don't wanna stay out late tonight." You say after clearing your throat.

He casts an amused expression your way before saying, "You must be a stickler for the rules, huh?"

Your gaze lifts to meet his stare. A smirk tugs at his lips as he holds your gaze. Unsure of how to respond, you offer a small shrug while saying, "Rules are good to abide by every now and then."

"Yeah," He agrees thoughtfully before adding, "But sometimes there's a little fun with taking a risk."

Your features scrunch. "Not if you haven't thought it through." You remark before adding, "Sometimes risks aren't worth taking."

He nods his head as a small smile tugs at his lips. "And sometimes, when you least expect it, it's worth it."

Another faint blush threatens to color your cheeks, so you look down at your textbook. Clearing your throat, you say, "I believe chapter fifteen is where we can find most of our project's information."
