As the weekend approaches, Leah drags you out of the house for some girl time. She's the only person your parents approve of, though, you've never tried bringing other friends around in the first place. Similar to you, Leah earned good grades and planned on going to a well-established university that her parents could brag about to others. With the promise of doing some shopping at the outlets, your parents allowed you to spend your day "cutting loose" rather than spending the day at home and lounging around. You'd prefer that, if you were being honest, but you also felt like you needed to spend more time with Leah outside of school.

As you and Leah browse through one of the more expensive clothing boutiques, she nudges your shoulder before cheekily asking, "No plans with Seokjin today?"

A faint blush colors your cheeks. "No, we only really meet up to work on our project. It's not like it's a social outing." You reply.

It's been a few days since you last spent time with Seokjin–no, Jin. He had to tend to a few obligatory family events, leaving you to head home after your college prep courses.

"Right, that's why he's been so eager to drive you home after you two spend a few uninterrupted hours at that café." She muses.

Her teasing earns an eye roll from you. "It was late and he offered to take me home since we live in the same area." You point out.

"And your parents didn't lose their shit when he dropped you off?" She questions.

"He actually dropped me off a block away." You mumble back.

Leah's eyes brighten with intrigue. "You little rebel!" She exclaims before adding, "Next thing you know, you'll be sneaking out to meet him."

"We're friendly towards one another, that's it." You say to Leah who simply scrunches her face at you.

"Sure, keep telling yourself that." She muses.

You don't dignify her statement with any words of your own, hoping that your silence on the matter will hint to dropping the topic altogether. You didn't know what Jin wanted from you. There were times he seemed like a friend, someone who simply was there to make you laugh. Then there were moments where he made your heart flutter. It was a little confusing for you to define clearly, and talking about it with Leah was out of the question. Your best friend would convince you that Jin liked you more than a friend, something you didn't want to entertain unless you were certain.

Your plan of ignoring thoughts of Jin was working perfectly, being that you and Leah had picked out a few things to buy, but as fate would have it, a curve-ball was heading in your direction. Just up ahead was Jin, looking handsome as ever in jeans and a hoodie. There were times you forget that students existed in clothes other than their obligatory uniforms. You attempted to duck out of sight, but it was too late. His gaze meets yours, prompting a broad grin to stretch across face as he spares a wave in your direction.
