The day after Y/n ran away...

Mr. and Mrs. L/N, were fairly understanding people. At least, that's how they liked to view themselves. They implemented rules for their daughter that seemed, just even, that it completely floors them when they realize that you had not returned from school.

At first, Mr. L/N had chalked it up to you running late. He understood your busy schedule, the way you had Academy after school before getting out just before 9PM to take the bus commute back to your neighborhood. From there, you normally help out at the restaurant since you've been grounded from doing anything else.

However, lately, your behavior has had him second-guessing your whereabouts and intentions. You might have been a good student who excelled in your studies, with dreams of attending a university that was considered prestigious by their standards—and the entire country for that matter. It was a dream of your father's to have a daughter aim so high for a bright future, one brighter than the one he had intended for you to have, but a part of him wanted you to stay around and help out with the family businesses.

It may be pride that fueled this desire, a desire in which he could pass down some kind of legacy to his children, and considering you were an only child, he could only accomplish this with you. Your focus and determination astonished him, floored him even, that he never thought he had to worry about your focus being swayed.

And then you met the Kim boy.

Seokjin Kim was not the kind of person Mr. L/N wanted for his daughter. His family were nothing but lying crooks who would sell out the Pope if it meant getting more money. They're baseless and greedy, something Mr. L/N wanted to keep you from getting acquainted with them. However, to his dismay, you wound up befriending the boy, making things the way that they currently are: you not returning home and, for a lack of better words, being declared missing.

"She must have ran off with that boy." Mrs. L/N sneers, eyes sliding over to where the Kim residence was situated.

Mr. L/N grimaces, face twisting with a scowl. "We'll take legal action if it comes to that."

The two parents were oblivious to your struggles, to your wants and desires. They always felt they had been fair to you, giving you space to grow as their child and even making the sacrifices they had done to provide you the best chance at high school education. And this is how you repay them? By not coming home? Making them worried sick?

"For now, we'll ask Leah if she's heard from Y/n." Mr. L/N supplies.

Your mother's jaw tightens, face strained with a tense expression. "And if Leah has no idea where she is?" She prompts.

"Then we'll go to the police." Mr. L/N says sternly. His eyes linger to where the Kim residence sits. Their home was a lot more grandeur compared to their humble abode, something that encourages a scowl to firmly remain on his face. "I assume she's with their boy and if she is, they will regret it."
