What the hell was she wearing?

Vivian wanted to scream at her. But really, he wanted to scream at himself for being like this. She was sitting opposite to him on the breakfast table, talking to Faith with her merry voice while he was stuck between Alex and Rich. And all he could do was freaking stare at her.

She was looking pretty. Saying that would be an understatement. She was looking freaking beautiful, he had to admit that. Bright colours made her skin pop and when it did, she looked so so warm, so cute, so kissable.

God. His mind had turned into a gutter.

"So, Eva...how's Neil doing?" Faith asked, munching on the bread.

She smiled. "He's good."

Jean and Faith were talking to Eva while the brothers sat opposite to them and concentrated on the delicious breakfast that Maddie, Richard's housekeeper had made. It was a perfect English breakfast with toasted breed and cheese, sausages and poached eggs, sunny side up.

"Well, the reason I've kept this breakfast is to break a news to you guys." Jean said, and took hold of her glass. She clinked a spoon on the glass surface. "Hear, hear! We're all going to Switzerland!"

The entire arena fell silent. It wasn't a silence, as in, the absence of sound. It was the inability to speak or make any kind of noise. Rich, who knew what this all was about, cleared his throat. "You guys can say something, you know?"

Alex was the first one to break the silence. "Switzerland? We're taking a trip?"

Faith couldn't be happier. "Family trip, oh my god!"

Vivian didn't know what to say. He just shrugged. "I guess dad's not coming, is he?"

"God, no!" Rich laughed gregariously along with Jean.

Vivian knew something was wrong. No, he wasn't that intuitive. Just seeing Jean staring at Eva weirdly told how what the sly redhead was thinking. No, it couldn't be.

"Eva will be joining us, too!"

Goddamn it!

He cleared his throat and ticked his fingers on the table. "I don't...think...it will be possible...for her."

Supporting him, Eva looked up from her plate, her eyes shocked and pretty at the same time. "No... actually, I can't...I'm so sorry!"

"Why not?" Faith urged, keeping her hand on her back. "Is something wrong?"

"Nothing much. I can't leave my brother alone."

No one could argue with that, Vivian thought with a sigh. Thank God, she had a baby brother.

No one could argue with that, except for Jeanie, the genie.

"Neil should come with us, too!" She clapped her hands. "How old is he?"

"He's fourteen."

"That's okay. It will be so much fun when Rich gets to learn how to take care of a child!" Alex giggled, holding his head.

Richard glared at him for a second and then shrugged. "I think you're forgetting I already know how to take care of a child, thanks to you. And your daughter loves me more than you."

"Where's Hope, by the way? I forgot to ask!" It was Jean who asked that question.

"She has gone to playschool with Marie. I can't believe my baby is two years old and going to playschool." There was joy in Faith's face, her brown eyes getting moist.

"Ok, so where was I? Yes! Please bring Neil with you... let's all go together! I'm in the fourth month so I'm allowed to fly till now. Please..." Jean made those puppy eyes that could melt every heart possible.
