Michael
I saw red. I marched straight to where I knew those girls would be. Those girls, the girls Maddison had described, I knew for sure were Eliza, Darcy, Matilda, and Claire. They were always skipping class and hanging out behind the school building, and I was right. The four of them were sitting and laughing and talking and when they saw me, their chatter ceased.
My anger must have been obvious. I went straight up to Eliza, who I knew was practically the ringleader of the four of them and growled, "don't touch her ever again."
"Who?" she asked innocently, not afraid of me whatsoever.
"Don't pretend like you don't know who," I hissed, taking a step closer to her. She stepped backwards and her back hit the wall. Her face was calm and didn't display any emotion, and it was impossible for me to tell what she was thinking.
She didn't reply, obviously waiting for me to say who. I glared at her and said, "Maddison."
"Oh right. That girl," she flicked her fingers dismissively. "What can I say? We don't like people like her."
"People like her, or people you're jealous of?" I snapped.
"Oh cool it, already. It's not like it was a big deal," Eliza was still unbothered and kept that stupidly calm look on her face. "We didn't do anything. Just a small talk, right?"
"A small talk doesn't involve digging your fake nails into her and slapping her in the face," I growled.
"She told you?" Eliza didn't look sorry at all; the expression she had on her face infuriated me. After brutally bullying someone, how could she be so calm? Evil. Pure evil, that's how. She's pure evil. My thoughts overran everything else and rage filled me. I put my arm on her shoulder and pinned her to the wall. Only then did a flash of doubt and panic cross her make-up covered face.
"Leave her alone. Don't ever ever touch her again, or I'll do more than just throw around a couple words," I growled. Eliza didn't answer and nodded instead, looking at me with a certain unreadably expression. I pushed against her one last time before storming off.
