"To ask you for Camila's number" he said in an act of anger, his intention was to hurt her as much as she was hurting him.

Mel felt betrayed to say the least. But the girl knew better, Charles wasn't interested in Cami he wanted to make Mel jealous, he wanted to hurt her. And he did.

Amelie scoffed. "So you kiss me and then you ask for my friend's number. Don't get me wrong, totally makes sense" she turned around.

"You're the one going on a date" Charles spat out.

"You're jealous, because of Will. That's why you're asking for Cami's number" she said in disbelief.

"I could say the same for you. Why don't you give me her number?" They were practically shouting at each other.

"I can't! Because... she has a boyfriend" Mel quickly said. There was no way in hell she was going to give him another girls number. Specially not her best friend's.

"Right, and she hasn't posted anything?" Charles smelled the lie from a distance. "You don't want to give me her number? Fine, I'll get it myself, I have her instagram"

"Yeah? Good luck on getting her to answer you asshole. Why do I care anyway?" Amelie trying not to sound jealous. She knew her best friend would never give him her number, but still the fact he wanted it made her jealous to the bone.

"For someone who doesn't care you sure seem pretty mad about it" Charles said clearly amused.

"Good riddance" Amelie mumbled before walking away.

This time it was Charles who pulled her back. They were inches apart, their mouths were almost touching. And it was the Ferrari driver who broke the little distance they still had. Their mouths collided against each other. Their kiss was desperate and full of anger, jealousy and unspoken feelings. But above all it was familiar. It was like coming home after a long journey. Like a first breath after drowning.

Mel felt her whole body on flames as they pulled against each other. She felt herself going to heaven and back. When they broke the kiss, they were both out of air. Their foreheads resting on each other.

"How are you going back to the hotel" it was the first thing Charles asked once they parted their lips. Amelie frowned. Was he really going to pretend that nothing had happened? The girl cleared her throat.

"I'm taking a cab" she said and checked the time, after all she still had a date with Will.

"I'll take you" Charles said and left.

Amelie was still out of it. They had just kissed. Again. And he offered her a ride?

Mel tried not to think too much about it, as they were silent the whole way to the hotel. No one mentioned the kiss again. It was like when a kid makes a mistake and hides it from their mom. But they were adults and they should know how to deal with their feelings.

Charles dropped Mel off, as the girl tried to focus on her date with a sweet guy who actually liked her. But that mission proved impossible when Charles didn't say goodbye, and instead gave her a long kiss on the cheek. She left the car and made her way to her room while her head was still dizzy.

The only thing going through Mel's mind was:
What the hell had just happened?

I was thinking of a Rudy Pankow or a Drew Starkey fanfic what would you prefer?
