Mel couldn't sleep. Her mind couldn't shut off. No matter how hard she tried. So she decided to go into the kitchen and fetch herself a glass of water.

"Can't sleep?" Charles' voice startled her. Amelie turned around to see a groggy Charles. He was rubbing his eyes, his hair was messy and his voice was hoarse due to the fact that he had just woken up. It made Mel chuckle.

"Yeah" she said getting the glass of water to her lips.

Charles hugged her from behind and she melted in his embrace. He kissed her cheek and went down all the way to her neck. Amelie chuckled softly. She turned her around and they locked lips. 

Charles placed one hand on her waist and the other on her face. He led her towards the bedroom and placed her gently on the bed.

Mel pulled his pants down and he took her clothes off. Both of them were naked, their skins touching against each other. "We don't have to do this if you don't want it" Charles told her. "I do" she retorted.

"Hey, Charles, I want this" She told him cupping his face between her hands. He kissed her again and she pulled him against her.

Charles entered her with a deep and slow thrust and a soft moan left Mel's lips.

This wasn't like their first time, it was slower and calmer, like they had all the time in the world.

"I need to know one thing before" Amelie told him turning to his side. "I need to know that what happened before won't happen again. I went through it with my dad. I am not going through it again" She said with a firm tone.

"It won't" He looked at her and she saw nothing but care and love in his eyes. "I'm sorry" she liked the fact that he didn't try to justify it he just apologised and assured her. That's what she wanted.

Amelie kissed him and then placed her head on his chest. "I love you" she whispered.

"And I love you" he whispered back.

They fell asleep in each other's embrace.
