Hours passed and it was the middle of the night. I woke up to one of our phones ringing. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes I began frantically searching for the phone under the dozen of blankets we brought out making our old sleepover nest. Grabbing the device I quickly click on the screen before even registering who was calling and not even knowing the hour of the night. "Hello?" I answer fully awake from the deep slumber that overtaken our bodies as we stressed over phones as Edward Scissor Hands played on the TV. "(Y/n) I see you're with your sister. If you can wake her up and meet me at the house." Bruce commands me before hanging up after. I'm met with a dark screen as I slowly take the phone away from ear. Sitting in the dark for a moment before I began looking for my phone. Finding it I quickly try to call Raphael once again. "Dammit!" I yell not caring if I wake up any neighbors. Looking at Venus I try reaching her only to miss. Then I realized I'm still drunk. The adrenaline must have kicked in enough for me to the find phone but staring at the empty bottles of wine I remember how it was 1 am and we haven't heard from anyone, so to calm ourselves we began drinking while watching movies. "Venus." I mumble trying to shake her awake again. When she wouldn't get up I try to stand only to fall on top of her. "(Y/n) you're drunk." She said out loud. "Shhh. It's late." I tap the screen realizing I can barely read it. "Bruce needs us." I roll off of her. "Shine the bat signal." She then uses her flash off her phone out the windows or at what we think is a window. I can't help but giggle. "Hey siri call Damian?" I questioned unsure really who to call. The phone rang then he answered. "You're drunk?"His voice is well serious. "What how dare you sir. I could have been calling about the stock market." Then I tripped again. "Dammit who put this corner here." "I'm on my way good thing I have your location." Then the call ends. "That was rude." Venus commented.
Knocking woke me up. I fell asleep on the sofa with cookies on the floor and another bottle of wine. "Why did we get more wine?" I question out loud. "Cause we're lactose intolerance." I stumble to the door. I open the door for Damian to support me back onto the sofa while Venus stays on the ground mid bite. "We were waiting for you two." He states examining the state of the living room. "Are they there?" Venus questioned Damian, "No, Bruce has answers. Something came up." His tone serious as black coffee with no sugar. Getting up I hug him, "Thanks for coming for us." Letting go we help Venus up.
"Are they okay?" I ask him trying gage the possible danger. "Everyone is fine. No one is hurt, but things have gotten complicated. We all had to ditch our phones. By the way throw our phones out the window." As we leave the building I grab our phones. Once I finally strapped myself in. I take a deep breath as Damian turned a corner and I toss the SIM cards out the window seeing it land in a puddle. Quickly I take out our batteries. I take a breath scared of what could have happened since last nightPulling into the garage the lights were unable to be seen outside. It felt almost haunting seeing the dark home. "Damian... are we moving again?" I finally ask him. He stops a moment of silence and being in the dark made it seem like it was never ending he turns on a small flash light. "I honestly wish I knew more. Bruce hasn't said anything until everyone was here. You two were the last ones." I stopped to process everything, making him and Venus stop. The door was right there, "but you said the turtles weren't here." I said lowly as if we were breaking in. Another moment of silence, "Like I said I don't know any more than what I told you." He pulls the door open. Entering the kitchen we make our way through to the basement door. Once the door open light flooded out and more voices could be heard. It was no higher than a whisper but there was so many of us here we could almost hear it. Closing it behind us I help Venus come down the steps. Luckily my metabolism processed the alcohol fast. "There you two are." His voice was stern but he examines Venus and understood that we've had a long day. "Sorry we had Venus's special wine." I looked at him begging for forgiveness. He nods his head as our moms came up to us and grab her out of my arms. I wrapped my arms around me. Waiting patiently for an answer. A sighs silence's the conversations that anyone could have been having. Jason, Damian and Barbara stood besides me as Richard and Tim stood by Bruce. The titans were across from us and their expressions was not helping my anxiety. No turtles, no word from them and I had to toss out my only way of communicating with them. It felt like ages until someone finally spoke. "We hit a problem. It seems like the foot clan has come out of hiding now that Superman and everyone else is gone." I shiver at the thought of his blood on my hands. Bruce voice never wavered or changed as he spoke. "Although we don't know how the citizens are reacting to seeing us again. We are now safe to go back home." There was almost a lightness and hopefulness to hearing that. "But be aware if we continue we cannot change the damage that has been done by them. Not to mention some of their followers are still out there. They may not be an immediate threat but they are not to be taken lightly." We knocked out the major players which is more than we could ask for. "As for the turtles. They're mutants and have protected New York from the Purple Dragons and the Footclan long before we came here. Now that Superman is gone it seems like the Footclan thinks they could come out. So I believe we should begin another Titan center here." As he says it I look at Richard. He was part of the Titans. He even helped form the Titans East over at Steel City. Raven walked towards us before standing next to Damian. Richard and Barbara both walked away from us. Starfire came. "Earth is still my home." She says. I knew this was her of saying she's coming back and she's staying. Venus joined us as well as she slowly makes her way. No one else came to join us. I looked at Jason. We dated barely. We went out once never again and then I caught him flirting with someone. Then that didn't last much longer either. He was a lone wolf through and through we nodded realizing it won't be weird for either of us. "That settles that. Now we need to speak with the turtles and it seems like their girlfriends haven't heard from them either." Selina reminder caused me and Venus to look down. "We'll send them to their home. Until then. Everyone is able to go home." With that last part being said I ran to my moms saying goodbye before also saying goodbye to everyone I'll be leaving as they go back to Gotham.
