Promise (Raphael X Reader)

We continued talking and walking away from class when the last thing we expected happens.
The lights turn off the only thing shining our way is a flickering emergency light. Quickly we ran to the closest bathroom, then locking the door behind us.
"You don't think?" I look at Jason and Damian or at least where I think they are. There is no light in the bathroom but a little window that doesn't do any justice for the dark bathroom.
"It doesn't matter who, the real question is what do we do?" Jason answers.
"Well if it's the foot again then we know we can kick their asses." Damian answers.
I open my bookbag opening up to grab my mallet and knock out gas, it is almost undetectable and safely puts everyone it comes in contact with to sleep. Two more bags open. Sparks are heard and a swish of a bo staff. "Quickly get your hood or mask on." I whisper towards them not wanting anyone to hear us hiding in here. Jason was about to open the door when a loud metal bang was heard coming from down the hall. We froze. Our breathing was the only sound that could be heard, waiting patiently we were waiting for another sound but nothing ever came. The bang was too loud to be from the foot. The bang sounded like someone barged through a door, the doors from school are made out of steel, that steel door crashed to the tile ground. The only way that could be the foot clan is if they used something to knock the door off its hinges. We paused unsure whether or not it is safe to go, we weren't sure what is behind the bathroom door, the only thing we knew is that we had to fight if we wanted to escape with our lives. The only problem is what if they found us, and they're here to get their revenge.

We each looked at one another, nodding our heads in understanding that it is now or never.
We sneak into the hallway, it was empty but the door that was once standing up and closed is now dented and on the ground. Listening in both directions of the hallway it was eerily silent, that is until the speakers began to make static it nothing but white noise until there was a small crack and what I could assume is a female's voice. "Well, it seems we had better luck today haven't we boys. Now for those of you who do not know who we are, we are the foot clan and today we have a gift from the Shedder to the vigilantes that stopped us last time. If you are listening we placed a bomb in the school that is to go off by the time the bell rings. That gives you only 20 minutes to find it and disable or you and everyone in here will die. Move out." With that, the voice cut off. "Okay, where would someone put a bomb?" Jason asked.
"Let's try near the center of the school." Damian suggested.
"Come on guys we only have 20 minutes, to find it I say we check downstairs in the basement." I suggested.
"We are going to have to split up for this one." Jason realized.

Raphael POV
"Move out." Karai commanded to the foot before getting off the speakers.
My Brothers and I manage to enter the university luckily it is dark out with the storm that's about to hit.
"Okay, guys we have 20 minutes to find the bomb and turn it off, Donnie what do you suggest." Leo began.
"Considering the size of the campus we may have to split up to find it, but our best bet may be near the center of the school but it may be near the roof, in the basement or in the exact center of this building. Not including the cafeteria, or gymnasium." Donnie conducted.
I felt antsy, the more time we waste the less time we leave for finding the bomb and saving everyone, especially... "Raph, are you okay?" Leo questioned me.
"Yeah, let's just start looking we already wasted our time." I grabbed Donnie and began heading downstairs with him, "We'll look down you two look up and we'll meet in the center." I suggested without waiting for a response.

Your POV
I searched the basement as thoroughly as I could. Nothing out of the ordinary stuck out but I continued looking. Damian is at the center of the school while Jason is on the roof. We agreed by the time 10 minutes hit we will have to regroup.
"Hurry up Don." I hear a rough, deep voice yell. I hid behind some crates hoping they won't check here.
"I'm coming jeesh." I hear a smoother voice reply.
Two giant figures emerge from the doorway. Entering the basement, they began searching. That's when I realized it is Raph and his brother, looking for the bomb. They were the ones that broke down the door. I began crawling toward the door keeping myself out of sight.
"Raph, why are you so anxious to find this bomb?" I hear from Don.
"Do you want people to blow up Donnie?" I hear the distress in Raphael's voice.
"I'm only asking due to the fact that you never react this way, but the second you heard the plan for the bomb at this location yesterday after we evesdropped the clan, well you were inclined to go out on the surface during daylight." Don explained becoming suspicious of Raphael.
"What are you tryin' to say?" The distress vanished and replaced by anger.
"Nothing but you must know someone here, especially with the nights you were gone, the fact that after our patrols you leave and come back happy and even fed." Don was calculating our situation, I look at the time on my phone quick, seeing the ten-minute mark coming up I began my crawl toward the exit again.
