Gaspar informed you, guys, about how to stop Lavos, and there are a bunch of ways to do so while also dealing with the problem of the Black Omen in the sky, with Queen Zeal plotting her next move.
Of course, the first thing was to acquire some items from different time periods that Gaspar mentioned. The first was the Sun Stone.
You, Lucca, and Marle ended up going far into the future to find the temple that had sunk into the sea in 12,000 B.C., and in that time, it had risen back up.
(Y/N): Now, this is pretty convenient.
Lucca: I know! Let's go and find that Sun Stone!
You all walked into the Sun Temple, which was filled with lava and iron floors; you all walked up to where the stone would be, but then a giant eye surrounded by fire appeared.
Marle: WHAT IS THAT?!
(Y/N): If I have to say anything, I would say that that's the Temple Guardian made to protect the Sun Stone.
Lucca: Well, let's take it out!
Marle: Right!
Marle and Lucca both began to fire their attacks at it, but it didn't do any damage, and then it launched a fire ball counterattack, but you jumped up and ate it!
(Y/N): FIRE DRAGON ROAR!!!
You hit the eye back with double the power, but it was left completely unharmed, and then it stopped as it seemingly had decided that you guys were worthy as it turned into a dark stone.
Marle: Why isn't it bright?
(Y/N): I think we need to take it far back. This came before it, as in legends, they told us, so that means we have to go back to 65 million BC!
One quick trip later...
You all traveled to the time of dinosaurs as you walked into a sun shrine where a big bright sunspot shined down on a particular spot.
Marle: Hey, this place must be where the sun likes to be at the most!
(Y/N): Then we leave the stone, and we go back to the Modern day.
Lucca: Yep!
Another Quick Trip Later...
You all arrived in Modern Day to walk up to the shrine, only to see the Sun Stone gone!
(Y/N): WHAT THE?! Someone took it!
Marle: How do we know who had it? It's been 65 million years?
Lucca: Hmm ...
After some time travelling...
You all ended up discovering that someone stole the stone 400 years ago, and traveling back to the modern day; you discovered the glow of the stone at a mayor's house!
(Y/N): Sir, can we have the Sun Stone?
Mayor: Sun Stone? No! Go away!
You asked around and realized his family hates him for being greedy.
(Y/N): Okay that does it. I'm going to kick his ass.
Lucca: Wait! I have a better idea.
She whispered something into your ear.
(Y/N): Oh! I see!
You all traveled back in time to 400 years ago and met the mayor's ancestors who were poor and hungry.
Ancestor: If only we havd some spiced sausages to eat!
(Y/N): Hang on.
You payed for the spiced sausages and came back.
(Y/N): Here.
Ancestor: OH THANK YOU! How can we repay you?
(Y/N): No need. I did my good deed.
Ancestor: Thank you!
In the Present...
(Y/N): Sir, can we have the Sun Stone?
Mayor: Huh? Of course!
(Y/N): Thanks!
Mayor: No need. Good deeds are the right thing to do!
YOu all asked around again, and it turns out his family loves him now!
Lucca took the Sun Stone to her lab and extracted its energy to make a vacuum-packed cartridge, and placed it into a new gun she made.
Lucca: Presenting the Wonder Shot! The most powerful gun ever! I also made some new shades; they are stylish and powerful! Sometimes I impress myself.
Marle: Awesome! You rock Lucca!
(Y/N): Okay! Let's see if Magus and Frog know anything next.
