You all got the Masamune fixed and decided to take it to Frog, who must know what it is for.
There you guys found Frog's underground bade, and he greeted you.
Frog: (Y/N) how can I help you?
(Y/N): I want you to wield the Masamune and save the world!
Frog: No, I'm not a-
(Y/N): Stop this! I know you can do it! You're awesome!
Frog: I am not. I will let you stay the night, and I will think things over.
As you all went to sleep, Frog began to remember his past.
Flashback...
There once was a knight named Cyrus and his squire, Glenn. They had promised the King that they would save the kingdom. And Cyrus was given the Hero's Badge to prove it. Soon they beat the Frog King, Forgficus, and they challenged the Fiend King, Magus!
Cyrus: TODAY YOU S- AGH!
Magus killed Cyrus, clashing through his chest, and Glenn ran towards him.
Glenn: CYRUS!
Magus then used his magic to turn Glenn into a frog!
End of Flashback...
You all woke up to see Frog wielding the Masamune.
Frog: Let's do this.
(Y/N): YES!
You all ended up at a giant cliff face where the path to Magus' Castle would be and Frog stood there wielding his sword, remembering more of his past.
Flashback...
When Glenn was a kid being bullied by a bunch of boys, Cyrus showed off and scared them away.
Cyrus: What are you doing? You have to learn to defend yourself.
Glenn: I can't. I can't ever hurt someone.
Cyrus: Sometimes, we have to do so to protect those we care about.
Years later...
The two of them were now at a bridge where Cyrus looked over the sea before turning to GLenn.
Cyrus: Glenn, I want you to be a knight.
Glenn: Why?
Cyrus: You are far better at sword fighting than I can ever be. You would be a great knight!
Glenn: I ... I can't.
Later...
Forg was resting by a river after being defeated and looked to see the Hero Badge.
Frog: Don't worry, Cyrus. I will be the Knight you wanted to be!
End of Flashback...
(Y/N): HOLY CRAP! That's like Zoro!
Frog: Who is this Zoro?
(Y/N): The strongest swordsman I know. There's nothing he can't cut through.
Frog: I'm proud to be compared to him!
(Y/N): You are to fight Magus?
Frog: Yes, my true name is Glenn! I will no longer cower! From this day on, I shall end Magus and avenge Cyrus!
